If you use Pinterest for Nursery Planning...

I am lurking here, looking for some help with a project I am working on ....

A local baby store asked me to write an article for them about how new moms are using Pinterest for nursery/baby planning, and how fun it is to "pin" things to your board when you find a design or product that you like.

Are you ladies using Pinterest in this way? I haven't started using Pinterest yet and would love some input into how moms are using it. Any links to your Pinterest board are welcome.

    I don't pin things on pinterest but I definitely went on there for ideas.  I painted a tree in my nursery that I first saw on pinterest and I crafted some cloth bookshelves I saw on there as well.

    i've been on it non-stop- got ideas for art, tutorials for the crib skirt and valance, ideas for the mural etc... it's awesome

    I'm not a FTM but yes I have a baby related board on Pinterest.  There are so many ideas that I would have never thought of.

    So, how do you find the cutest stuff? Just search by keyword for what you are looking for and then sort by the number of repins?

    I love looking for ideas on Pinterest. I found so many cute things I never would have thought of. I "follow" a bunch of ladies from DD's BMB, so I have seen some cute ideas through them. I also found some great ones by just searching keywords, like "city nursery" or "literature nursery." You can see my page by the link in my siggy if you want. I pin things that I like and then plan on adapting them for my own nurseries.

    I acutally just got materials this week for DD's nursery based on an idea I found on Pinterest and am decorating this weekend. Blame it on current pregnancy nesting I guess.

    I've used pinterest like crazy for planning. My link is in my sig. "What the I don't even" was when I was TTC and then got pregnant at first. The for Baby T board is for things I actually have or were planning to get for him so I could see the material etc all together. Now I have one for newborn Ideas for once he's here.

    I use the app Kuzimo for Pinterest (I'm addicted to it) to make color palettes from the material I have or pictures I like that I think are inspiring. I'm thinking of possibly painting one wall (I'm in an apt.) so I'm seeing what colors I like that wouldn't be too much. I pin tutorials all the time so I've made my own crib skirt and window valence for the nursery already. 

    I'm planning to use the app Home Decorator to test the paint colors on the wall and I'll probably end up pinning those to get some input from my facebook friends etc. about what color looks good. I have family on pinterest too. I just love it.

     e: on and I've done a ton of crocheting from things I've seen on etsy and pinterest. Made a baby blanket and cap!

    I love Pinterest! I've been using it to keep track of what I want to buy for the nursery, I also have a baby board, of just things I want to buy,

     It's been super handy, when I was ready to buy everything, the pins took me straight to the website!

    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    Yes, I have been using Pinterest for baby ideas! I love it, I am in the middle of a button tree project and will be doing another craft idea I found. I also love the photo ideas that I get, I also want to learn how to make a tutu for my baby girl and take photos of her. My pinterest link is in my siggy :)

    I just browse the popular option, a lot of my re-pins come from there
