Hi ladies. I was going to hold off until after my 1st u/s to join you here but seeing as I have some questions now and I'm sure will have some before my u/s on the 19th, I thought I'd go ahead and post!
My question is: I'm 5w5d today. Yesterday I noticed what feels like some changes to my cervix...it feels...lower...I'm kind of paranoid b/c this is how it feels before my period shows up and everything I've read says it's supposed to be high and soft. I haven't had any spotting or bleeding and have only had mild cramping on and off the past week. I'm just looking for some reassurance I guess!

Honestly, I've never felt anything in my cervix. And I've had a copo and a leep. I think our minds just get the best of us. Thanks IF, for that. GL at ur ultrasound!!!

You should stop checking your cervix. It will change periodically, and you really don't want to risk irritation or infection by digging up in there.
ETA: Mild cramps are totally normal, and with no spotting or anything, I'd say you've got nothing to worry about.

I haven't been physically checking it (sorry, should've clarified that). It just sort of "feels" like it's in a different spot down there than it was the other day (if that makes any sense). Feels like there's more pressure. Thanks IF for making me paranoid!
