My nose is driving DH crazy

My sense of smell has been so insane lately that it is driving DH crazy. I came home the other day and could tell that DH cooked a whole package of bacon hours earlier. Just now he was eating a cucumber in the same room as me and I asked him to go somewhere else because the smell was making me want to yak. I also asked him if he would shower twice a day because his BO is bothering me. He looked at me like I had three heads. His exact response was "it is going to be a long 9 months if even the smell of me makes you sick." Ha!

    Oh I hear ya. I'm so sensitive to smells you would think I was part bloodhound!! DH hasn't been allowed to cook bacon during this whole pregnancy or I would vomit!!

    I found that candles help. I bought a bunch of candles and reed diffusers in smells I like and can handle and keep then near me! I like vanilla best because it smells like cookies!!

    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    hahaha! this is so funny, the smell of bacon also grosses me out!!

    the thing that annoys me, is we are in an apartment, and due to preggo nose, i can tell when someone is outside smoking, and it makes me so sick!

    the other night, i came home and hugged DH, and i was like eeewww! i told him he smelled like sauerkraut LOL he was like you're a freak show...he said he went to the deli and BOUGHT sauerkraut, he only bought it, and i could smell it on him LOL

    That's so funny, because a few weeks ago DH and I went to the movies and he got a hot dog with kraut. And you know how close together movie chairs are.. Ugh it made me miserable!!!! Smells soo bad!!!

    Me too!!!  I always had a good sense of smell, but now it's ridiculous!!!  It drives me crazy because even good smells are sort of bad because they are too overwhelming sometimes.

    My nose super power hasn't kicked in yet.  I don't really have a good sense of smell to begin with, so maybe it never will kick in.  The only thing I am noticing now is when our dog smells dirty (and I couldn't smell that before).  Yuck.
    Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
