This nesting is crazy...

If something sits still for too long in my house right now-it may get thrown out! All of a sudden I am nesting like crazy: trying to organize and make space everywhere-it is insane! Anyone else?

Totally... (but not to the extent of throwing things out) yesterday on an extra day off work I got a lot done and am loving the whole nesting thing! (as well as H lol)

I overhauled my kitchen cabinets and drawers last week. DH got involved too. I told him he must be sympathy nesting!

This happened to me this weekend...I started in on the house and threw all kinds of stuff away and re-organized tons! DH got in the mood too and now my SUV is spotless and so is our loft...thank the lord for sympathy nesting...now we really might have room for this kid!

Yep. I did that weeks ago with everything! Somehow today, I found three more cabinets to go through. It was so refreshing! I'm on modified bed rest, so I get bored sitting on the couch and start looking around the room and voila, I find something to organize! Not a good thing. I think I've scared DH!

Oh, man, I have lost count of how many trash bags worth of stuff I have thrown out in the last 8 months. Were I not so sick, I'd keep going right now! We just have SO MUCH CRAP and we don't need nearly a third of it, really. The problem is the husband is a bit of a packrat. (He picked that up from his mother, bless her heart.) It takes a LOT to keep me from picking up that habit, and being pregnant hasn't helped. If it weren't for the whole "nesting" thing, I'd be horribly disinclined to do much of anything right now.

Yep, I am totally with you on this! I think DH is kind of getting annoyed because I don't really hang out with him after work very much these days... I just want to clean, organize, wash clothes, and put baby stuff together! Sometimes it annoys me because I wish I could relax, but I feel like if I don't get this stuff done as quickly as possible it will just stress me out even more! Agh!
