DS always wants to take a nap at 6 pm, he only sleeps for about 30 mins and is up until 9 or 10.. not happening anymore. He still wakes multiple times per night so tonight I put him to BED at 6:15. His normal bedtime is 7:30 but I'm wondering if maybe that was too late for him but I feel like 6ish might be too early? We'll see if he sleeps any better tonight! Here's hoping!
What time is your LO's bedtime?
Re: What time is LO's bedtime?
I read that between 6-8 pm is a normal bedtime for LO's our age. DD is in bed by 7 or 7:30 pm at the latest. It depends on how well she's napped. If her naps were too short, she usually won't make it past 7 pm.
She only takes 2 naps a day now. One between 9-9:30 am and the other around 2 pm.

7:00pm bedtime here. And he is still taking a couple naps during the day and then an hour long nap from about 5-6pm. I think dc tires him out. Many times I have to wake him up myself. Then he's awake for about 45 minutes before I get him ready for bed and then put him back down for the night. I always thought a late nap would mean that he would sleep like crap at night, but he's been STTN with no problems with this schedule.
This exactly
On normal days, she likes to take a final short (30ish minute) nap around 4:30. Bedtime (actually asleep in her crib) is sometime between 7:30 and 8:00.
I sometimes think she'd like an earlier bedtime, but it's just not possible. I'd like her to go to bed even a little later...
7pm. Liam gets cranky around 6:45 (unless it's a bath night). We do jammies, a book and bottle at 7 and he's out by 7:15pm. On bath nights (twice/week) we start with bath at 6:45 until 7ish and then do the normal routine. He only wakes mayve once per night for his bink, he are working on that.

10-10:30.
We are a sleeping in family. H does not get home from work until around 10:30pm-12am so that is our time to spend together since he leaves the house in the morning still. Him and I don't go to bed until around 2ish. DD's bed time works for us. If she went to bed any earlier I wouldn't get much sleep. Her and I wake up around 10:30 am or later...

between 6 and 7. Sometimes she melts down and I look up at the clock and yep! 6:01 on the dot!
She wakes up at 5 though, and hardly naps at school, so it makes sense she can't stay awake much later!
This exactly...except sometimes it's after 9pm and she only takes 1-2 naps at dc.
phew. Here I was thinking we were the only ones with a later bed time with ours at 10-10:30..

We are night owls as well. DD is usually asleep by 10, but sometimes earlier, sometimes later. She sleeps in until 9 usually. It's not my preference, but she fights sleep, so if I tried an early bedtime, I'd just spend the whole evening battling with her.
Nope. Our husbands have similar schedules (though not the same profession). If she went to bed earlier she'd never see him. We are a night owl household so it's more natural for us to stay up late then wake up early in the mornings, we plan on keeping a similar schedule for her until she starts school and we have to transition (as long as it keeps working for her, if she starts melting down every evening then obviously we'll change it up).
yep. Us too...like you said, until school. My H has been home for about 30 minutes now. I just got done washing the dishes after our "dinner".
