Every time it gets warmer out, these fukkers come out of the woodwork. Literally. H woke up with one next to his face on the pillow.
If you have had this problem, has anyone found anything that kills them? I wish there was something I could do that would be the equivalent of sprinkling salt on a slug with these.
Re: Northeast, do you have stink bugs?
our news had this article before about making your own stink bug trap...hope it helps.

I opened this thinking it was a call out to another bumpie.
This is for all the caterpillars that never became butterflies. And for all the butterflies that never felt the wind in their wings. And for all the hearts that had hopes and dreams of a wondrous flight together.

I have seen them in DE, but not in MA or DE.
They are very disgusting. In a relatives house in DE, they are everywhere. The dogs eat them.
In the fall, it got to the point that we were concerned about our septic system with all the flushing. I started to save each flush until I had a couple of these a$$holes floating in there. Then I used a jug with scented soapy water to toss them into. I tried spraying soapy water all over my windows, I even smeared lavender oil on the frames. Nothing worked. This winter has been pretty warm so far, and when it gets above 50 outside they climb out of their hiding spots ready to head out.
I heard on NPR that some kind of a genetically modified wasp is being bred that may be able to kill off their larvae by laying their own eggs into them. I hope they are ready to go for this spring.
Thank you, I haven't heard of this trap yet. Looks cheap to make, will have to try it.
Ahh, see we're on sewer lines so no worries about septic for us.
I've heard ants and other insects dislike peppermint, so maybe that might work better?
