Men are such wimps

Anyone else's DHs wimps when they are sick. DH has had a cold for a few days. Stuffy head, runny nose, etc. nothing major. He was sitting here in his recliner and looked absolutely pitiful. I asked why he was so mopey - and he said...."I have a cold!!".  Really!  Don't be a wimp Dh

    YES! If my DH has a cold or a sore throat, you'd think he was puking his guts out or something. He told me when he was little and sick, his mom would bring him a bell to ring in case he needed something. REALLY?!  Well, he is getting no special treatment from me.  My mom is an L & D nurse and always told us girls if we weren't bleeding or vomiting, we're fine.

    Totally!!

    My hubby gets really annoyed when he can't sleep or when something wakes him up. I'm like you better get used to it buddy! Last night I told him that I've been waking up for an hour or two each night and he's all suprised, probably because I haven't been complaining about it like he would be lol!

    So true!!! I recently had to explain to DH that just because I don't complain about every little thing that it doesn't mean I'm not in pain/annoyed/tired etc... He is just getting over a cold and is acting like he is dying.

    I joke with DH about how if men were the ones that got pregnant the human race would be extinct. haha. He actually agreed with me. At least he admitted it. Wink
