Holy screwed up cycle....(long vent)

I just need to get this out and I'm not sure what the point of this is other than that. If you read all the way through, thank you. I started to m/c back on Oct 9 and had an emergency D&C on Oct 12. I am still waiting on my first post m/c AF. When I m/c it was a missed m/c at 11 wks (baby measured 7 wks). My system is completely screwed up. My pre-pg cycle was pretty regular (around 25/26 days), so sitting here at day 54 is beyond annoying. Never in all my years of getting AF have I had a cycle this long! Adding to the frustration is that in a few short weeks, my dear sister is going to delver her second (her due date is exactly 4 months before mine was supposed to be 
. I had hoped to be on cycle 2 and maybe have a BFP before the new year.
I had my followup appt with the OB on Nov 16 and she sent me for b/w to get a beta (<2) and check my thyroid (normal). On day 27 of this journey I bought a BBT and started temping and charting on FF. My temps were all over the place and I never had my usual o pain at all. I'm 40 yo and I don't have a lot of time left to try again (personal deadline for various reasons), so this waiting has been getting to me.
So DH and I finally felt ready to be intimate again and although we weren't really TTA, we weren't really TTC either. Doc said we are good to go after first post m/c AF...if only she would show up. Anyways, lo and behold, day 45 comes and I supposedly O'd. Yay. Of course, I don't find that out until 3 days later and it looks like DH & I were busy the very day the event occurred. Yay again, except I haven't had my first post m/c AF yet. Maybe we should have been more careful, I guess we'll find out in another 5 days of so. I am pretty sure my LP is 14 days, so if FF is right, AF should arrive on Saturday. If she doesn't show her face and I get a BFN, then a return trip to the OB/GYN will be in order. If we do get a BFP, it will certainly be a Christmas miracle received a couple of days early and I will be shocked and thrilled.
I hope I know more by Saturday, because I have used up every last one of my patience and I want to move forward already. I hope that all of you ladies waiting for your first AF have a very short wait.

Cycle #22: Femara, TI, and progesterone = BFP!!
BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!
