Nail polish for DD? Preferrably non toxic?

I have Piggy Paint, and although I love that it's Non-Toxic, it doesn't stay on very well at all! Within 1 day most of it has worn off and chipped away. I figured my DD's getting more of that in her mouth than she would regular nail polish because it does come off so easily! What do you use on your DD? Any recommendations? Thanks!

  • I haven't used it, but I hear HopScotch is great for kids.

  • I just the Hello Kitty kind they have @ Target on the end caps.  I have no idea if its toxic or not, but she likes it, it has sparkles and its normally worn off after about 2 days.

  • No idea except to say that we have the piggy paint too. I think one of the main reasons it comes off easily is because it doesn't have all of the dangerous ingredients that others do. We only use it every so often.

We haven't used it much in the past either, but  lately DD wants her nails painted All. The. Time.  And then if one chips or the paint comes off she freaks out and we have to fix it!

  • I realize it feels like they are eating more of the paint, but since its nontoxic it's a lot better than the real nail polish. For us the only time the paint stays on our dd is when I paint her toes . I seems to stay on much longer. i'd suggest painting the toes instead.

Same here.  Which is why we almost always only paint the toes.  She is less likely to smudge it instantly on her toes, too.
