Do I write them as from me or from him?
For example:
Dear Mom and Dad,
Thank you for the big truck you got Pickle for his birthday. He loves to push it around the playroom and transport all of his toys.
Alli
or
Dear Nana and Papa,
Thank you for the big truck you got me for my birthday. It is so much fun to play with. I love to push it around the floor and put my toys inside.
Pickle
Or do yo do some sort of hybrid?
Re: Thank you notes from 2 y/o
since birth we have written all our daughters thank you notes as if it were her writing them. It just seems to make sense. We keep it simple though:
Dear Grandma,
Thank you so much for the bubble wands. I hope we get to play with them together next visit.
love,
ailee
For DD's birthday I make them sound like they came from her so your first one.
Side Note: We call DD Pickle too or some variation of it!
Thanks for the advice. Yes, I am clearly overthinking it
We made the cards yesterday with some watercolor crayons (very cool item by the way). I cut them out last night, but I was torn on what to write...lol. I love having a place to go with silly questions.
