Calvin or Graham

H and I have narrowed down to our Top 2 boy names but we're both torn on which one is our favorite. Calvin would most likely be called "Cal" and is a name that we both just like, no strong associations. Graham was the name of a close friend of H's in college who passed away.

MN will be Christopher, my maiden name.

We obviously have a long time to decide, and may not even have a boy, but I'm curious to hear outside opinions!

I had thought about Calvin Graham too. I'm not set on Christopher which is kind of my sticking point with both names, but my H thought it would be a nice nod to my family. Thanks for all the feedback ladies!

I love Calvin, and it was one of the two final choices for our little man. I think the nn Cal is adorable. In the end, I couldn't get over the fact that it meant bald or hairless. I'm not huge on name meanings, but I just couldn't do that one.

I agree with pp that Calvin Christopher seems "too much". But then again, I'm not a fan of the spelling Graham - I much prefer Graeme. So I apologize, I guess I'm not much help.
