I have been having a pain on my right side since last night. It was uncomfortable enough for me to notice it throughout the night (not the best night sleep I've ever had) but not sharp enough to have me doubled over or cause great concern. I don't have any other symptoms of concern (no spotting, no fever, not tender to touch). I'm wondering if it could be round ligament pain. It's not constant, but I will feel it every few minutes and then it goes away.
Re: What does Round Ligament Pain feel like?
I get deep sharp stabbing pains on the side of my abdomen on the right. I get them about 3 times every night. I had the same pains before pregnancy. As soon as someone told me what round ligament pains were, I knew thats what I had.
Anyways, side tracked, they're painful for me, but they go away in less than a minute. Generally happen when I'm rolling over in bed or coughing.

I have been having this pain for a few days and finally decided to call the doctor. That's exactly what they called it - Round Ligament Pain - and is completely normal. I was told to use a warm towel over the spot where you feel the pulling and also sit in a recliner. Because I don't have one, it was suggested to lay on the sofa and elevate my legs at 60 - 90 degrees. We'll see how this works. Finally I can stop worrying something was wrong with the baby.
