Room service! Seriously, my hospital has some great food, especially for a hospital. I'm anxiously awaiting my breakfast. Might as well make the best of a not so great situation, right?
Also, I got a great night sleep last night. It's amazing how even though I'm hooked up to monitors and have an iv in my hand I can manage to sleep better here at this point than home. Guess that's because I know I don't need my mommy ears turned on to hear my son when he wakes up in the middle of the night.
Hope everyone is having a great Sunday so far!
Re: The best part of the hospital?
Hang in there- and rest and relax as much as you can. And enjoy the food!
We are all pulling for you.
I am with you! Ours has a menu service to rival most sit down restaurants and you don't get your food until you order and they bring it right up nice and hot! I was even on the diabetic diet so you know it had to be good for me to brag! They have a fried chicken breast sandwich that is as good as Chick fil a's! I was there for a month so thank goodness the food rocked.
What's sad is that when we were put in for RSV 6 months later I knew what I was eating before we got there because after that month I had the menu memorized! So sad!
I hope things are beautiful at the hospital and that you get better soon! As one of the ob's with my doctor said "Pretend you are at a resort, enjoy your meals and don't move unless you want to that's what the nurses are for!"
Nice!
Our hospital has great food too. I've heard of people actually going there just to "go out" eat in the cafeteria. The night DD was born they gave us Filet Mignon and Chicken Cordon Bleu. That's actually one of the reasons I'm looking forward to going back.
Enjoy the yummy food and the good night's sleep!
Much as I want to laugh there's still that part of me saying "LUCKY!".. Oh how people just don't understand how much I'm looking forward to the two PP days at the hospital after I deliver for the 100% of the maternity leave I get...
Seriously, good luck! Hope LO decides to keep cooking in there for a while!
