I was essentially forced into telling one of my supervisors (I have several) that I am pregnant yesterday because she was pressuring me to come in to work over the weekend to make some stuff up. She was giving me a major guilt trip, so finally I told her "Well, I found out I'm pregnant and I have not been feeling well lately. Normally I would totally make up missed work, but I have been less than 100% lately so it would be difficult for me to come in." Ever since then, she has been acting weird towards me. Even her 'congratulations' was super fake. Time to invest in some lotto tickets and quit work forever!
Re: Weird job vibes
A lot of bosses regard this as "bad news" because of the whole maternity leave and having to find someone to fill in for you. But that's pretty selfish thinking. Be careful to note down incidents if you feel like she's discriminating against you, that's illegal.
and BTW, hope you feel better and congratulations!
Let them do the mad scramble to find a term employee to do my job. My office is seperate from the department and i only have to go to the department a couple of times a week. I think when i start to get bigger I am just going to go first thing in the morning when no one is there so people don't see me.
Sorry, new to quoting.... But WHAT a ***!
