Anyone fail the 1hr glucose MISERABLY and still pass the 3hr?

I have to take the 1 hr early in pgncy becasue of family history. I failed the 1hr w/Henry by a few points and passed the 3hr with no problem. However.... I just got the results from my 1hr and the results were horrible. Failing is anything over 135, they say 180 = GD. I registered at 175. Soooo, it is on the the 3hr. I just hope it isn't a lost cause. I've so been looking forward to eating without abandon for the remainder of this pregnancy. Even though I'm usually a pretty good eater and I'm at a healthy weight, I LOVE my sweets. Ugh....

    Me!  My 1 hour was 192 and I passed the 3 hour with flying colors.  Good luck!!

    Yep! I took them both twice. The first time I failed the one hour by only a few points but the second time I was somewhere in the same range as you. I went on, both times, to pass the three hour with flying colors!

    I am not the success story but i can offer the other side. I failed the 3 hour by just a couple points and was GD. While i did have to watch what i ate, i still had my sweets. I had ice cream every night before bed. So while GD isnt ideal, it is managable. However i hope you pass.

    I have always been one extreme on the 1 hour and the other extreme on the 3 hour.  No doubt that I'll fail the 1 hour, but I've always been well below the cutoff across the board on the 3 hour.  Good luck!

    My 1 hour was 156, and I failed the second hour of the 3-hour test, but passed the rest so no GD. GL!

    ME!  My first pregnancy, my 1 hour was over 200.  Yikes!  Passed the 3.

    My second pregnancy, I barely failed the 1 hour (like a 160 something...and failed the 3 hour.  So who knows.

    I'm jealous:) I was 199, my ob almost did not even make me take the 3hr b/c of how high it was (she does not require it if it's over 200. We went ahead with it and of course I failed:(   

    Good luck! I think you still stand a chance of passing!
