Is minky stay dry?

I have a leftover big piece from Crackerjack's quilt that I was thinking of cutting down to use as diaper liners.  Then it occured to me, maybe it's not the same as fleece?  WDYT?

Re: Is minky stay dry?

  • I don't think it would be stay dry.

    How are you doing?

ah, ok, i'll use some fleece.

Doing pretty well!  I'm in nesting overdrive, wanting to get everything ready :)  Baby turned head down  (he was transverse) and I'll be 37 weeks in a few days, so I'm gettign super excited!!

    How are you??

  • I actually tested this myself. I found some people on other forums that love using it so I bought some. I put an insert underneath and poured water on it. It took a second, but it felt much dryer than the insert underneath. I just made a fitted with a layer of minky inside, it's so soft! I say test the piece you have and see how it works :)

  • Minkee is stay-dry.  It's a wicking fabric, and functions much like fleece and microsuede do.
