How do I become more private?

Ive seen some of you have a "shhh" message instea dof profiles. I have pics on my profile which I can delete, but Id rather just make ir private like some of you have. I spent time trying to figure out how and I am feeling dumb. Any suggestions for me? I dont feel as comfortable with my info out there any more.

 

Also, you ladies moving to a new board, are you not going to be on the bump anymore? How will I know where you go? I am not a troll or crazypants, I just LOVE this board and would be sad to see so many of the people go that I value their opinions! Whats goin on!

    Not sure how you go private, but probably in your account settings.

     

    Nobody's moving, just posting both places.....we have an April 2012 Mod now, so I suspect we'll be back to normal here soon!

    Go to your settings and click on the private box next to the public

    Someone do a test run and click on my profile and see if it says "shhh"

    I set everything to private somewhere in my settings so I imagine it'd say Shhh

    Edit to add: If it does say Shhh. The go to My Bump, go to the right hand side and it will say Settings mid-screen. Click that and then make everything private.

    If you want a little more privacy you can make your photobucket acct private as well. ;) If you want to see what someone can find out about you then google your screen name. A few different people use my screen name for stuff, but yours is pretty unique, so someone would assume it was you.

    ALSO HOLY COW how did I not know my photobucket wasnt private? I just always ASSUMED only I could see it! I created it years ago back in high school, how scary!
