Speaking of kids books (or another reason to hate my mom)

When I was little, I had a favorite book. Super pink puffy heart favorite book. I insisted it was read to me over and over and it was the first book I read when I learned to read myself. Well, long story that I won't go into, my mother lost all of my childhood things (baby blanket, baby book, first tooth, etc.) including this book. So after DS1 was born, I got nostaligc and wanted so much to buy a copy to read to him. So I searched for it......

Only to find out it was written by Sylvia Plath, yes *the* Sylvia Plath, and not only is the book no longer in print, but it would cost an arm and a leg to get a copy. Of course, after paying that much, no way would I let the kids near it. And here my copy was almost perfect, with a small tear on the front cover. THANKS MOM.
