FYI - apple hill

Just thought I would let you guys know a couple of things from our trip to apple hill this last weekend:

Abel's didn't have the "how tall this fall" sign :(  It did have the Johnny appleseed guy with a tree showing height.

Larson's was closed and so was the Honey place (can't remember name).  It was Saturday, so suprised me.

And, for anyone who likes some wine tasting - Stone's throw winery is closed, like foreclosure closed.

We didn't have too much traffic and except for High Hill, none seemed that crazy (they were busy of course), but not insane.

I heard they're Seventh Day Adventist and so they're closed on Saturdays.

Yep, Larson's is Seventh Day Adventist so they are closed every Saturday. My MIL makes a special trip up there because they have dairy free pies.

We headed up to Apple Hill last Saturday also. We went up early and that made a huge difference. No traffic, no lines, it was blissful. By the time we left High Hill we could have sold our parking spot.

I got some awesome Christmas decorations at Abel's this year. =) I don't know about the height chart, but they had the same tree they had last year. H actually got to stand next to it this year instead of me holding him up to it like last year. They have so much for kids there, I think it is my favorite spot with H.

I can't believe we didn't run into each other....DH, H and I were there at the same time! H had his first donut...he loved it. =) I got some great pictures of H in the wagon in front.
