.. So DH and I'd last name is a girls name.. Serra (I have no anonymity... I know sad lol)

We've been told that DH is a boy... what would you do in this instance for boy's names? And DH does NOT want a junior lol ... that would of course make things soo much easier...

Could you use just either his first or middle name as a middle name and go from there? Or use another family name as a middle name? In my husband's family it is tradition for the oldest son to have the father's first name as the middle name. I think that is a cool tradition without having juniors, 3rds, 4ths, etc.

It depends, do you like traditional names like John, Paul or Edward or more "unique" names like Gavin, Miles or Asher?

Pick names you like and go with it. I might not pick anything that is considered an either gender name.

This made me giggle.

I think you can name the baby whatever you want. People will understand that he had no control over his LN being girly. I would go with something masculine, not unisex (though I dislike unisex names so I would avoid them no matter what).

I think any name would suffice.
That last name made me think of the actor Michael Cera.

I would just pick a name that you and your husband both like and can agree on. No one gets to choose their last name, its kinda like you get what you get. So who cares, just pick a name and roll with it!

LOL I hear ya...

So far the only two names that are still on the table are Peter and/or Warner... which are my father's names... So we shall see..

Im open to any name basic or unique... It doesnt matter to me as long as I like it.. but I definitely want his name to flow

I've always joked that if we had a girl I would name her Sarah Sierra Serra.. (not really but it always makes me laugh ... Im a huge dork.. I know..)

You could name her some awful first name that starts with a K, then middle name is Sarah and use that. Then her name would be K. Sarah Serra (whatever will beeee, will beeeee....).
