    I'm from southeast VA, 20 minutes from The city of Norfolk which is home to the largest Naval Base in the world. I'm from this area, which is surprising as it is so populated by the military. I like it. 4 hours from DC, 30 minutes to the beach. It is just really humid and the cost of living is that great.

    Southeast Michigan about 10 minutes from Ohio.

    I live in MI too =)  i actually love living in MI. I could not live somewhere that did not have 4 seasons.  i really do not ever see us leaving the state.

    I live in Alabama.  I lived in TN during college, but other than those 4 years, I have always lived in Alabama.

    And yes, I love it here...even with our ridiculously hot and humid summers.  I can't imagine the freezing and snowy winters that those of you up north experience!

    I almost had to move to Alabama. My ILs live there. What's your weather like there now? 

    Still in the low-mid 80s.  We may see some 70s next week!

    North Texas. I have lived here all of my life. I love it here, because all of my family is here, but I hate the heat. I wish it was cooler in Texas. It is officially fall now, and it might be a 100? here tomorrow.

    I used to live there. I miss the chicken wing place we used to go to.
