Pain on the side you ovulated

I ovulated on my left side and I have had pain right around my ovary.  I have had an ultrasound to check it out and they said everything is normal.  They think it may because that is the side I ovulated from.  Does anyone else feel this?

    Yes, and I've been completely freaked about it!  This was the first cycle I ever felt ovulation pain, and I was doubled over an entire afternoon from it.  Since then, I keep getting stabbing pain in that same spot.  I was going to bring it up at my appointment on Monday.  Glad to know yours is normal.

    it's likely that it's a cyst. Corpus luteum. Feels like stabbing pain to me too.

    I have definitely had pain off and on - on my right side for 5 weeks.  Dr said the same thing to me, that it's possibly just a growing pain or that it is the side I ovulated on.  Also did a US @ 5 wks because of it and everything is in it's right place.
