? about S/O and LO

What does your S/O do with your LO that drives you insane?

My H will never put a bib on Cooper.  Cooper drools so bad so he needs a bib.  I constantly tell H to put a bib on him and he always has a excuse.  I'm sick of tired of having to change Cooper because he is soaked!

  • It's not an issue now that DD can crawl, but he'd always put her somewhere with nothing to do. For example: he'd put her in the bouncer and then go like empty the trash (or whatever) and she'd cry because she was bored. Then *I* would have to go give her a toy. H, you're not helping when I still have to stop what I'm doing to tend to her.

Edit: Not that I mind tending to my own child. It's just annoying when H says he'll watch her so I can do something and then he doesn't fully watch her.

  • Throws him up in the air really high. Sometimes he'll do it while he's laying on the couch in front of the big picture window. 1 slip of the hand and JT is going to be a garden statue...makes me a nervous wreck.

This for me too. He doesn seem to fully watch or entertain her when I just need 10 min to myself

Same here..I can ask him to watch LO and he will set him down and ignore him..LO will cry..and then I go and pick him up..it is lame. Give me a minute to myself..please..

  • H never can remember what time he last fed Simon. So I can come home from being out a few hours and Simon will be upset, so I ask when did he eat last? No idea. Literally, it's like I'm speaking a foreign language.

And he also does the half @ssed watching thing. He sets him down and then gets on the computer playing his geeky games while Simon's chewing on a power cord at his feet. FFS man!

  • DH is not good at getting DS to take naps.  He thinks if he has one hour nap a day he is good to go.  And, he has no patience for "working" at getting DS to sleep.  He thinks he should just pass out somewhere or something.
