Do you have a nickname for baby?

Noah is SO active and seems to get very excited when I eat so I refer to him now as the Karate Kid! LOL

Have you nicknamed baby?

Re: Do you have a nickname for baby?

  • We still call him baby

  • My Hubby calls Braxton little man, squirt, and of course Braxton lol. I call him little man too I'm not how we got on that it just kind of happene after we found out it was a boy. Other than that I guess we don't have an actual nickname we use.
  • Yes, but it requires a little explanation. DH's name is Karol (pronounced Carl). So before we knew DD was a girl, we called her "Carl's Jr" like the restaurant. Then when we found out she was a girl, we decided she needed a more "girly" name, so she became "Wendy's." So we were talking about baby #2 and how she can't be "Wendy's" because that's DD#1's name, so she became "Arby's."

So yes, we call our kid Arbys (only on occasion, and mostly with my mom....it's our inside joke with her) and it makes me crave Arby's every time.

**as a sidenote, my family got so into the "Wendy's" thing when DD was born, that my step sister went through a Wendy's drive through and asked them for a bag with nothing inside so that she could use it as wrapping paper!

  • We call ours "the kids"

  • Since we don't know the baby's sex yet, we are calling the baby "Sam'R'Sarah" since those are the names that we like.
  • we call him baby blue. have since the beginning.  since he was the size of a blueberry and it just stuck

  • We call it McFetus, like McLovin from Superbad.

I sometimes call it The Fetus, like "The fetus wants some water"

This one is BAD, but my sister calls it CvntFvcklydoo. She just wanted to get the worst words she could into it I guess.

  • Fetushead....no just baby.

  • Because we have a 9 mos old we want him to know or get used to the baby's name and to know something is in my belly so we just call him by his name, Jayden.
  • We don't have a real name for the baby yet. We have recently taken to calling it Shaniqua Stick out tongue.

She is almost one... that nickname stuck... she is still Kickin Little!  I thought that was cute!

  • Lima, b/c my DH said the baby looked like a lima bean on my 7 week u/s.
  • DH and I don't have a nickname... My sister calls still calls it Blueberry because that was the size when we told her. Maybe one will develop once we know the sex...
  • We call the baby "Hamlet". We don't know if it's a boy or girl... and we called DD#1 Bubba. But since this one is Baby 2 or B2 we thought "To be or not to be?" And thus, Hamlet.
