    MUDMUDMUDMUD...

You had a 'good job' (fyi, you still need to report tip money from working the poll, but I am sure you knew that) but between you and your husband had no car (Let me guess, when the baby comes, you will call 911...what is that...another $500-800 you can't afford so someone else will eatthe cost?) or other way to get there so you quit it, in this economy AND you have the mentality that government programs are, you know, free y'all!

    I refuse. That's it. I refuse.

Why is she automatically MUD for being dumb? Some people really are stupid.

And speaking of dumb, you used the wrong "poll."

You are calling me dumb for a typo but the OP gets a pass? Confused

The "government" will pay for your education too, maybe you should start there.

    I am very well educated.

Then why don't you get a job that offers health insurance?

I had a job but the person I was riding with quit so I had no way to get there.

How about any public transportation...train, bus??

  • imageatlb:

    imagepeonypetal:

You must mean POLE  not poll. I was not a stripper I would never do anything like that. We have a car but my boyfriend uses it during the day to drop off and pick up his kids. I was riding with a friend and she quit the restaurant was too far for me to take the bus and if I took the car the kids wouldn't get to school on time.

What is your degree in? And how many kids does your BF have?

I'm going to bet it isn't Linguistics, specifically English... and please goodness, I hope she doesn't say teaching...

HA HA!! I re-read that like 4 times, thinking she meant some sort of voting location - which is staffed by volunteers - and was wondering who would tip those people?...

why don't you get a car, get a job, get insurance, get married, learn how to pay your bills and expenses every month (not letting the gov't provide you with a bigger apartment), and then maybe readdress the issue of removing your mirena

What? No way, its much easier for her to sit on her ass and let all of us tax payers take care of it for her. She says she was born after the 80s, so this chick is at most 21 yrs old. Clearly its time to start (add to?) a family. (Qualification: if you are 21, have a job, know how to pay bills, have insurance, a home, stability etc, clearly you are an outstanding person and this jab at peony's age/immaturity is not intended for you)

He's not working right now because he watches his daughter during the day while her mom is at work. When he was working most of his check went to child support so her mom could pay for daycare so its better for him to just stay home with her. We are not ready to get married we talked about it maybe in a few years.

  • Dude, it totally sounds like you have all your stuff together. I mean, your BF doesn't have a job, stays home with his kid from another chick, you don't have a job because you don't have transportation. Sounds like a legit reason to add another kid into the mix.

And trust me, if y'all aren't ready to get married, y'all probably aren't ready to have kids. That's a much bigger commitment.

In what way, other than playing with them and perhaps feeding and bathing, is he "taking care of" his kids? Like babysitting? It certainly isn't "saving for their college education."

He's not working but he still is a good dad and takes care of his kids they have everything they need and he buys them whatever they want. We will get married later when we are ready for that.
Dense is the word that comes to mind.

So let me get this straight... neither of you work... and because you 'take care of his kids a lot (it's not alot, by the way).. and he "buys" them whatever they need and want (using quotations because I'm not totally certain about how this could be possible given the info you've supplied)... you think you're ready for a baby?  That's effin' fantastic.  This well-thought-out-plan-of-the-century is mind boggling.

We are not ready to get married we talked about it maybe in a few years.

but you are ready to procreate.   I get it.  Marriage is such a HUGE life changing commitment.    He already has 3 and no job.    You'd be insane to add to that.

We want to have a baby together I take care of his kids alot when they are at our house so I know that I'm ready. He's not working but he still is a good dad and takes care of his kids they have everything they need and he buys them whatever they want. We will get married later when we are ready for that.

    What is an alot?

In what way, other than playing with them and perhaps feeding and bathing, is he "taking care of" his kids? Like babysitting? It certainly isn't "saving for their college education."

He buys them what they need...with what money?

    Yes

peony: - what does your boyfriend do for a job?   How's his insurance plan?   If he has insurance just get married and add on to his plan.   Or is that too expensive?
He's not working right now because he watches his daughter during the day while her mom is at work. When he was working most of his check went to child support so her mom could pay for daycare so its better for him to just stay home with her. We are not ready to get married we talked about it maybe in a few years.

if neither of you work and he can barley support the kids has now... why on EARTH would you want to bring another child onto this earth who you and (he) can't support? That makes no sense. Is that the life you want for a child? Really?

why can't you use the car? Don't they have school buses for the kids?

no kidding where are the school buses?   Isn't the government supposed to be paying for school-type transportation (via school funding)?

Oh wait... the gov't has already doled out all its money to idiots like you who want a baby NOW cuz it's free!

The kids are too little to go on the bus they are only in headstart and 1st grade.I can't use the car because he has to go pick the boys up from theyre house then take them to school then pick his daughter up before her mom goes to work. it would be a big hassle if I took the car.
