Hi.....I am 16 weeks pregnant for the first time and I have never had any morning sickness or nausea. I have had really bad hunger and cravings for sweets and chocolate. I am 5'8 and was 135lb before I got pregnant and already I have gained 30lbs....from all the non-stop eating !!!!! My doctor say its ok as I was skinny to start out with but cannot continue to gain at this rate. Kinda wish I had the morning sickness as then I might not have put on so much weight, but at the end of the day I dont really care as all we want is a healthy and happy baby!!!!!! So good luck and I think we are just lucky to not have had the sickness!!!
I am almost 17 weeks pregnant and I am the same as you. I really worried that being pregnant with my first child I would just consistently be sick with morning sickness because everyone around me that has children went through that. Come to find out I never really got sick, every once in awhile I would feel nauseas but I only got to the point of throwing up 2 times. I just am so thankful for it. When I spoke to my mom about it she told me she never had morning sickness with me or my brother either so I think I got that passed down to me. They say it's just how your body handles the hcg and I just say we are the lucky ones that are bodies handled it well. According to my doctor our baby is on track, healthy, and looking great so we are thankful for that! I was really concerned at first to but after reading all these other responses and talking to my mom I feel a lot better and you should to! Enjoy this pregnancy, it's amazing and congrats!
i never had morning sickness and was very glad i didn't . i had just started a new job when i hadd found out i was pregnant so haveing to have all this time off for being sick would have be very bad . i did have my day of feeling like crap but never vomited
I am almost 17 weeks pregnant now and I am the same as you. I never had morning sickness throughout the first trimester. Every once in awhile I did get nauseas but I only got to the point where I got sick 2 times and at first I was really concerned that that was not normal but after reading all these posts, telling my doctor that I haven't been sick, and talking to my mother it's actually normal and just straight up lucky. They say it's just the way your body reacts to the hcg and we are the lucky ones that our body accepted it well. My mom had said she never had morning sickness with me or my brother so I luckily got that from her. Let's just be happy and lucky and love the experience and blessing that we are going through right now. Congrats and I hope the rest of your pregnancy is just as easy as your first trimester.
I'm pregnant with my third baby. The first two I was sick pretty much from conception (must've been the dad, lol). This time, I am at 22 weeks and had one morning when I actually had to run for the bathroom. I was really worried because this time was so different than the first two that something was wrong. But my doctor reassured me, like your PPs, that we are just very, very lucky! Congrats
I only had a couple occasions, maybe 4 - 5 the entire pregnancy so far. Don't feel badly or guilty - just be happy you are able to eat sensibly and enjoy the good feeling!
I have had very little morning sickness. I think i've gotten sick a total of 3 times.... orange juice first thing in the morning, brushing my teeth a little too thorough, and from having an empty stomach.
When I was pregnant I did not have any morning sickness at all. So if you are blessed with not having m/s then you are one of the lucky ones. My friends were super jealous when I told them I was not experiencing any sickness what so ever. We are very lucky to have missed this stage in pregnancy.
I'm now 18 weeks with a boy and haven't really had morning sickness either. My stomach was alittle upset for a couple weeks but have pretty much felt great! I keep saying that I was made for having babies.
Re: never had morning sickness?
I'm 17 weeks now, and had no morning sickness. My best friend is 8 months, and she had no morning sickness either.

Guess we are a few of the lucky ones
