Ok so I had my first apt. Today. Learned that I have to see a an ob a's opposed to a midwife because of my GD with DD. I now have an apt for a pg class and a new dr apt. I am worried the new dr will transfer me to San Jose because of the GD. Is there anyway to encourage them to care for me in gilroy??Gilroy is already a half hour drive. I really don't want to go to sj for all my pg apts.

    I can't answer your quesstions but hopefully they can see you at gilroy for the appts and just have you deliver in SJ.

    Is your new dr and the pg appt in SJ or in Gilroy? I would talk the coordinator at the PG appt, and let them know you perfer to be seen in Gilroy as long as everything is ok. If it gets to be a more complex PG, then you may need to be seen in SJ, since all facilities are right there.

    The new pg dr is in gilroy. It just worried me the way the nurse practitioner got all freaked out when I told her I had GD with DD. So far I feel great. Also my GD was pretty easy to manage last time. It is just so much driving. When I was pg with DD I often had two apts a week.

    I see my OB in Mountain View but will deliver in Santa Clara and there was no question.  You may have it all figured out now but it shouldn't be a problem :)
