You know we all think about it.... "Have I gained enough?" "Have I gained too much?" etc. And we're sometimes afraid to start the convo in fear of being flamed! Here's your flamefree chance to gripe or say how happy you are about your weigh in!
Most importantly, how are you feeling about it?
Re: The dreaded "weight post"
At my appt last week I was still down, currently at -5 lbs pre-preg. But at this point in my previous pregnancy I was down 13lbs and gained quite a bit in the last tri so I'm a little concerned now
There's a good chance I could balloon up in the last 10 weeks like last time! And probably worse!
Dr's not concerned- I have plenty to spare
But otherwise I am content with it! Considering how much I'll likely gain at the end.

Protein shakes I haven't tried, eating more then I should and tons of high fat/cal things I have. I don't have morning sickness and I feel great. All I do is eat lol! The MW also said that they won't worry to much as long as baby is growing (she measures on track externally, she hasn't been measured on an u/s yet), but they are going to be keeping a very close eye on her. My main worry is I have been diagnosed with IUGR twice with pregnancy weight gains of around 30lbs, so it seems more likely this time.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm apparently a big ol' fatty.
I've gained, according to my doctor's office, 13lbs. I don't think they had my official starting weight, though. Heeeheee. I'm pretty sure it's closer to 20lbs, but whatevs. I'm on track (for me anyway) to gain about 40lbs and I'm okay with that. As long as I don't hit the 65lbs I gained with my first, I'm happy.
I do eat pretty healthy, just tend to indulge in the desserts. It'll all come off after the pregnancy with nursing and working out, so not too worried.
I am in the exact same situation. I never thought I'd have trouble gaining weight. I'm eating so much, and most if it is very high fat/cal. But zero gain. I was down 3 more pounds at my last appt.
My OB told me to add an Ensure a day. I have FINALLY stopped losing, but I'm still not gaining. I feel your pain.
I did not go to the doctor until I was 10 weeks; at that appt I weighed 135. At my 19 week appt I weighed 142! So according to doctor I have gained seven. According to my scale at home I weighed 128 when I was 4 weeks, so according to my scale I have gained 14 pounds.
I am short (5'1'') and every pound shows on me. I feel really upset about it and I feel like a fat a$$, not a pregnant lady
Thanks for the flamefree rant

after reading everyone's weight report it's nice to say that i have not gained, but still down 8lbs pre pregnancy weight. I had a bunch to give up pre pregnancy so it's not a big deal. I had been down 15 pre pregnancy but had gained some of those lost back in the past six weeks. I am hoping with a healthy diet the next twenty weeks that I don't gain more than 10-15,but we will see.
on a different note i pulled a ligament in my foot/shin and enjoying extreme pain in my foot all day!
At my 16 week appointment I had gained 6lb so far - I was kinda shocked as I thought I would have gained more seeing as how much I had been eating.
I have never been skinny, nor massively overweight - I would say average. Usually I just have to look at a chocolate bar and it goes straight to my hips.
The difference I am finding with this weight though is it is not going to the usual places - Usually I put weight on my face & hips before anywhere else but to be honest, I cant see where I have put the 6lbs (or more now) on which I am happy about. As long as my face and hips do not bloat I am happy - Although I can see a little has gone on my back which I do not like.
The midwife said she is happy and so, I am happy with it too
I gain weight VERY quickly when pregnant. It seems like every bite I put into my mouth translates into weight gain for me, which kinda sucks. What is funny though is that I have gained way more than most of you, and I am thrilled about it.
I am up 17lbs at about 22 weeks. At a pound a week for the remainder of the pregnancy, it would put me at a 35lb gain, which sure as hell beats the over 60 I gained last time.
Honestly, I am not very happy with my weight gain. I am up 12 lbs at 19 weeks. This is my 3rd pg and I have never been this much this early so I am really nervous that I am going to gain a ton more than I did last time. I did lose about 20lbs earlier this year and started out about 7lbs lighter than I did with my other pgs so I don't know if my body needed some extra fat up front or what. I was so hungy...still am. I just hope it evens out or stops for a little while.
According to the pg weight calc, I am only 1lb over the window I should be at but I still feel huge. I am getting a ton of stretch marks that I never had before because I have gotten bigger so much faster. I look about 10 weeks further along than I did in previous pgs.

9lb gain. I'm right on track in my point of view and according to a pregnancy weight gain tracker I'm right between the low and high range of weight gain. I'm trying my hardest not to worry about gaining weight I've never had but I want to gain what I have to for my little girl.
I'm down about 5 pounds (started at 178... my "pre baby #2 weight"). I was diagnosed with GD at 10wks and although it's great for keeping weight gain in check, I'm really struggling with it. With taking care of the boys all day, it's SO hard to stop and plan out my meals to meet my carb requirements plus add in the protiens and fats they want me to add. I often just want to skip a meal because I don't have time to think about what's best to eat. It's been really hard....
With DS1, I gained 40lbs. With DS2, I gained 17lbs (all in the first 24wks - I gained nothing after being diagnosed with GD). Who knows what the end result will look like this time...
