We took LO to Dr. earlier in the week to have something looked at. When they weighed her she is 16.5 lbs. Cubby! We go in 2 weeks for our official "4 month" appt which will be more like 5 month appt.
He was 17lb 15oz at 4 months. I took him back just after 5 months for a sick visit and he was 20lb even. Yeah, my baby is a giant. He doesn't even drink a lot of formula and isn't on solid food yet so I have no idea how he's so big when his big brother as always been tiny (he's 27lb at 2 1/2). Crazy!

I wonder if there are different charts they look at? Nora was officially weighed at 4.5 months at 16lbs 15 oz, and they told us that was 95th %ile.
There are two charts, the CDC chart and the WHO chart. My dd was 79% in weight on the CDC chart and 66% on the WHO chart - and off the chart for both in length

I was pretty sure there were different charts out there. Thanks for clarifiying. I'm going to ask at her next appointment which they use just for curiosity.

Wow. I can't imagine her weighing that much at her 4 month appointment. At her 3 month, she was 11 lbs and one ounce. Her 0-3 month clothes are still big on her. Some of her newborn pants are just shorts now, they still fit around her waist.
Sophie was 12 pounds, 22 1/4 inches at her 4 month appointment. She was a preemie so her adjusted age was only 1 1/2 months. She's catching up quickly!!
:-)
Sophia Elizabeth born at 28 weeks, 6 days. Weighing 3lbs, 3oz and 15 1/8" long.
At J's appointment he was 12 lbs. 15 oz. and 25 inches long. He's a long and lean boy! He will be 5 months on Tuesday and I swear I think he's gained 2 pounds this month!
Wow, we had a visit to the doctor's yesterday because of a cold and she's only 13 pounds even! I thought it was a bit small and judging by everyone else, she's a peanut
Wow, this is a very interesting thread! DS is only 3 months, but he was 18 pounds as of about a week ago. He was 17 pounds at his 2 month appointment. I've got a chunker! :P
