I'm praying for a miracle for you! Also praying that a second opinion brings answers and more options. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you and your family!

Friends of mine delivered a baby a few months ago with only one kidney. It was a terrifiying time for a while because they weren't sure in utero if she was missing both or just one, and then when she was born they weren't sure if they were functioning. She is now 4 months and thriving. Not meant to give false hope, as every situation is different and it does sound like your case is a little bit more severe, but I am going to hope for the same outcome for your and your baby as they got with theirs.
