Itchy red skin w/lupron?

I was surprised that after both my morning and evening injection of my MDL, my skin was itching right around the injection site.  When I looked, it was also kind of blotchy red.  It goes away within a half hour or so of giving the shot.  I plan on checking with my nurse to make sure this is ok, but has anyone else here experienced this?  Pretty sure it's normal since upon googling I've found similar descriptions of reactions.  Just wondering what your doctors have said about it.  I haven't had any reaction to gonal F, menopur, or ovidrel so I was surprised with this one.

It is not uncommon to have a little irritation with injection sites, as long as it goes away shortly after.  It is just super annoying!

My skin gets red and itchy at my injection sites.  It goes away, but it's still not fun. I get little red bumps that don't go away too. But my nurse told me it was normal. Are you switching sides with each injection?

if you aren't already try icing before.

lupron gives me large, raised, red welts at injection and then it subsides after 30 min or so.  the icing helps with this and also minimizes the burning (it burns for me too)

It will all be worth it one day!
