Northern California Babies

Hopefully my last update on all of this

The oncologist called me today and gave me the best news the tumor is benign. The plan is to do a scan on my daughter's bones to make sure nothing is there but they don't think it is, and scans to follow it up. The fact that the tumor is benign is really good.

What they were ruling her out for was neuroblastoma which is a common childhood cancer that has a 96% curable rate (but of course none of us want our babies to go through that!!) and if she had it her urine would have a chemical in it and it didn't. Also during the surgery since the tumor was bigger then they thought it would be expected it would go to other organs and it didn't.

I'm super relieved and happy. After I got off the phone with the oncologist I cried and thanked God so much. When I called my husband he was confused because I was a blubbering mess and he thought there was something wrong.

I want to thank each one of you for your positive thoughts, prayers, hugs, emails and messages. All of that gave me strength to get through this hard time.I owe all of you big time, and I appreciate this board so much. I hope I can be there for each one of you, like you guys were for me.

Thank you thank you thank you.. I just don't think I can say it enough.
