swing - DS takes all his naps in this swing & I just love it! Click on the demo and you'll see why! You can plug your ipod in it, the seat comes out and you can put your Graco car seat in it (great when you're coming home and ready to take LO out of car seat yet), vibrates, etc! LOVE IT!
play mat from exersaucer- The playmat part isn't as crazy as othe ones I've seen, but I like the exersaucer as a whole.
Items: bouncy seat, pack n play, gas drops, snap n go stroller, Total Baby (an app for my ipod that tracks everything).
But a must have for sleeping: long sleeve side snap shirts, socks and Aden & Anais blankets. This is what she wore at night to be swaddled. Awesome combo! Still use the A & & at night and at daycare - not swaddled - just tucked (sids style).
SWING, definitely - our daughter would hardly sleep during the day if it weren't for the swing.
Swaddling blankets - our daughter would hardly sleep at night without these!!
Lots of baby washcloths - we use these as wipes.
Nursing cover, since we've had a lot of visitors and I've also had to nurse her at church
Changing table - a lot of people say you don't really need one, but we have one upstairs and one downstairs, and she's never gotten her diaper changed NOT on one of the changing tables. After my c-section you wouldn't find me bending down to change her on the floor.
Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta. BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.
3. A regular excercise/yoga ball for bouncing baby to sleep
4. AA swaddle blankets
5. Sleep sheep
6. Pack N play (although, we've only been using it for a change table on our main floor of our house - this could be done on the couch or another surface. We just packed it away yesterday and will just use it when we need a place for LO to sleep when we're out of our house).
7. Bumbleride Indie Stroller - use it almost daily, and love that LO can go in in his carseat, or laid down when back is fully reclined.
I refuse to eliminate two off my list. Maybe the sleep sheep... I still think I like it more than LO.
Aside from the obvious, car seat, crib, changing table, etc. My number one most used item is the homemedics sound spa. It plays white noise, lullabies and even has images you can project on the wall or ceiling. My second loved item, believe it or not are these bags that you put poopy diapers in, I use them everytime I change a poopy one, even though I have a dipaer pail, these really cut down on any smell, they are scented with arm and hammer so it really helps with the smell. I also love bottle/pacifier straps. When your little one goes to throw his bottle or pacifier or sippy cup, it doesn't hit the ground, so keeps them much cleaner and prevents you from constantly wiping them off.
Re: what are your top 5 most used baby item....
