Help! When did you take your maternity pics?

I am 25 weeks measuring 30 weeks.  Shall I wait until after 30 weeks or have them done sooner?

    I had them done at 34 wks and delivered at 36 wks.  I wish I had done them closer to 32 wks.  It felt like so much work to get all made up, dressed up, do the shoot, etc.  I was EXHAUSTED after it was over.   If I were you, I'd do it sometime around 30-32 wks.
    TTC #1 since 6/07, Dx = Ovulatory dysfunction, DOR, and autoimmune issues ~ 4 Clomid cycles, 1 Femara Cycle, 6 Injectible IUI cycles~ 4 Chemical PG's ~ IVF #1 Dec '09 = BFP!!     When did I take materinity pics?  Uhhh, never! I don't need photo evidence of my giant self laying around the house. Wink

    I think it depends on how pregnant you want to look in your pictures.  If you want accuracy, I'd wait a bit.  I got MUCH bigger after 30 weeks.  If you want pics of yourself where you're pregnant but not preggggggnant, anytime around now is fine.

    I had a maternity session just before 26 weeks... just so I had photos done in case something happened and babies came early... I'm ALMOST 35 weeks now and planning on having another session today. I'm lucky though, I'm a photographer so I have a ton of friends willing to do them and dont have to worry about booking someone in advance... I decided yesterday I wanted some today... and wham. 3 people volunteered to do them. LOL

    Haven, thanks for responding.  After battling 4 years of infertility and finally having to settle for IVF, this pregnancy will be documented. 

    Good point, I may actually have them done at 30 weeks. 

    sescms2004, thanks for the advice.  Based on your response and Haven's I think I may have them done at 30 weeks.

    My husband and I are going to have some portraits done in mid-September when I'll be about 28 weeks.  I figure that I'll look plenty pregnant, but will hopefully not be super uncomfortable yet.  :)

    TTC since 5/10
    Dx: PCOS 12/10
    IUI #1 (2/11/11): Metformin + Clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
    IUI #2 (3/13/11): Metformin + Gonal-F + Ovidrel = BFP
    Beta #1 (15dpo) 460, Beta #2 (17dpo) 829, Beta #3 (19dpo) 1550 u/s #1 (4/12/11): Twins!

    I had them done at 32 weeks at my baby shower and I wish I had them done sooner because pre-E was setting in and I didn't know it and I looked like a balloon!
