Sudden Supply Drop?

Hi ladies. Over the past couple days, I have noticed a big drop in my supply. I work FT and pump 2x a day. Typically, I was pumping 15-20 ounces a day, but every day this week, I've only been 5-10 ounces for the entire day. I upped my water intake, no difference. I was on the mini-pill (had been for 2 months), so I stopped taking that 2 days ago. Haven't noticed a difference, but didn't expect to see something so soon. I had AF prior to going on the pill, but haven't had it since.  I have taken pregnancy tests since starting the pill (including one last week and this week) and all negative. I had a single drink on Saturday night but didn't think it would cause any supply issues that would last this long.   I nurse DS in the morning before I leave, when I get home, before bed and then usually once or twice a night. I didn't really have much of a freezer supply, so I'm getting low and may have to start supplementing with formula. Anyone else have a similar experience? Any advice would be great!

    Are you getting sick? Is AF on the way? Are you getting enough calories? Are you getting enough protein?

    I would pump an extra session at work if I were you. 15-20 ounces in 2 sessions is really good. I typically get 5 ounces per session. You may just need to pump more. . .  Sad

    Im in the same boat and my LO is almost your LO's age.  I stopped taking the mini pill months ago, only took it for 2 months because it made me feel like poo.  I have had 2 AF's and my supply seems to drop the week before but now it isnt coming back up.  My freezer stash is down to 30oz and I am worried I will have to supplement as well.  Ive decided to add in a couple extra pump sessions each day to see if I can get it back up.  I have no advice but I hope someone else does.

    Thanks for your responses! I got my AF on Thursday, not sure if it was just coming on its own or its because I stopped taking the pill. I had a half day work Friday, so i only pumped once and it seemed okay.  We'll see how it goes....I'm going to add a 3rd pump session at work just for a couple of weeks.  I EBF my first son until he was a year so I'm looking to do the same here.
