I'm Christine, 30 years old. I've been married for 4 years, but we've been together for 11. After several losses, our 5th IVF cycle finally brought us our miracle son. He was the singleton out of a quadruplet pregnancy that included identical triplets. But we lost the triplets before the end of the 1st trimester. Our little fighter was born at 25 weeks and had a hard road in the NICU for 4 months. He still has several medical complications that we deal with on a daily basis and it is exhausting, but we are grateful every day for him. He is the happiest baby I've ever met and he always has huge smiles for us. Currently I am a SAHM, but I am trying to find something part-time soon. While I love being home with him, and though his medical needs sort of necessitate me being home, we do need a second income. With my little guy keeping me so busy, I lurk more than I post right now, though I was once a regular on the IF board.
TTC with unexplained IF since 8/2007
6 losses, one beautiful perfect boy in our arms
Hi! I'm Kim and I'm 38 y/o. DH & I have been together for 20 years and married for 9 of those. We have an amazing little boy from FET #2. I am a SAHM. That wasn't the original plan but I was laid off the day before we started IVF and I took that as sign. Now I get to spend every day with my little man. We're hoping to do another FET later this year.
I'm Stacey...not sure if I qualify as lurker or newbie, lol.
I'm currently pregnant with our FET twins, but on bedrest for duration of pregancy:( Trying to soak up as much time with our DD as I can, before babies arrive.

I'm Lori, married 8+ years to my college boyfriend, full-time working mom (outside the home) of 2 great kids, 6 and 2. My 1st, Justin, was conceived naturally within 3 months of TTC, Alexis was the result of secondary IF, 5 failed months of clomid/IUI, 1 month gonal F and b2b IUI.
:::waves HI::: I'm Jenn! Been married to my husband for 5 years (together for 10) and just had our first daughter in April. DH and I are both carriers of CF and we did 4 fresh and 1 frozen cycle with PGD to get pregnant with our sweet girl. We have 2 frosties that we hope to use next year.
I work full time and miss DD like crazy during the days. I like to read, shop and hang out on the lake whenever I can. Now that DD is here, all my "hobbies" revolve around her
I am Julie, and am a newly minted 30 year old. Married 6 years, with two IVF miracles. Our almost 14 month old Anna and another on the way this winter. As my screen name implies, we live in Chicago, and appear to be crazy enough to think we can have two babies in a 2/2 condo. Wish us luck. I enjoy being a SAHM and putting too much coffeemate in my coffee.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
I am Jennifer, married to DH for 6 years. We are 36 and 37 years old. DH is an airline pilot and I am flight attendant turned SAHM to our sweet DS. We are TTC #2 with the help of an RE and IUI.

I'm late to this, but I'm SeaSoul, came to the IF (then TTTC) board in the winter of '07 when we got our diagnosis of azoospermia (no sperm). Then took a break of almost a year, b/c we decided to postpone TTC. Came back in winter of '08 and that's when our son was conceived - through IUI and donor sperm. He was born in December '08. Currently pregnant with #2, who was conceived the same way, though from a different donor (ran out of remaining sperm we had from donor #1). I'm due again in December!
Happy to talk with anyone about azoospermia, donor sperm, advanced maternal age (LO was conceived when I was 39, and I was 40 at his birth; am currently 42 and will be 43 at birth (unless s/he's is early!), natural birth, attachment parenting, and breastfeeding.
Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.

LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).

We have 2 year old twins, Ava and Thomas...Thankfully via IVF/ISCI!! We are starting to get the baby bug again, and are hoping to start again sometime next year!

I'm 31 and have been married to my college sweetheart for 6 years, together for 11. I have a 16-month-old son, and a 3-month-old daugher (1 year and 3 weeks apart!) who keep me on my toes!! Both were conceived without assistance and are the absolute light of my life.
Before them, we TTC'd for 2+ years and conceived boy/girl twins via IUI with injectibles. They were born still when I developed HELLP Syndrome/ severe preeclampsia at 20 weeks. We miss them every day and are now active with the Preeclampsia Foundation. I was dx'ed with clotting disorders and was able to carry my living son and daughter to 37 weeks with the help of Lovenox and an awesome MFM.
I am a civil litigator but am currently reevaluating things since I work way too many hours, and am starting to get tired of fighting with people for a living
Hi! I'm Laura, 28 married for the last 4 years to my college sweetheart Greg. We live outside of Philly. I'm Alison, 37 and I've been married for 4 years. We have a seven month old son (born at 26 weeks due to pre-e). He was conceived via IUI with injectibles after a couple years of officially trying. Not sure if we'll be able (medically) to try for a second but I hope so.
I work in Finance on the administrative side and I recently launched a website: KateAndAly_dotcom with my sister who is also a new mom.
Hello! My name is Emily, I'm 32. I'll be married 8 years to my husband Jason in October. I'm an "oldie" that was on hiatus for a bit and am so glad to be back.
We have an amazing son, Conor, who is 2 1/2 thanks to Femara+trigger+IUI. Conor is all boy and I wouldn't have it any other way. He says the funniest things and give the best hugs and kisses EVER.
We live in just outside of Des Moines, IA. DH teaches HS - Special Ed/Behavior Disorders and I am in Human Resources. We are working with our RE to ttc#2. I'm in the dreaded 2ww.

My name is Jess (27) and my DH (31) and I just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary on Tuesday and are so blessed to have our 2 month old DD through IVF due to MFI.
She is sleeping on my chest as I type this one handed and cannot get over how precious and beautiful she is.
I go back to work part-time (3 days a week) in September and already scared about how much I will miss her, but thankful my mom and MIL will be watching her.
Hi, I'm Liz. I've been married to Patrick for 6 years now, I am 30 years old. We have 2 daughters Savannah (IUI), will be 3 in August and Brooks (IVF) who will be 6 mos in August. I am the new primary breadwinner. I work in the mortgage industry. DH was a controller at a hedge fund, and is now a SAHD. I love to read and watch crap TV. I also need to update my sig.
I'm Bridget. I am 35 years old and live in the Chicago Suburbs. I only lurk here now but I was on the IF board back in 09. I suffer from unexplained IF and have had 5 m/c's and one failed ivf. I got a surprise bfp in March of 2010 a few months before getting ready to start ivf #2 which resulted in my baby boy Mason who is now almost 9 months. I quit my job as a Medical Assistant to stay at home and I am loving every minute of it.
After many years and tears our baby boy is finally here
I'm Connie. I'm 29 and live in Michigan. I've been a long time lurker, but (I think) I've posted a few times here and there on the IF board. We went through many TI/clomid cycles, 1 IUI, 1 IVF. Our daughter, Maggie, was born on January 21, 2011and is the result of a FET cycle.
I work as an office manager for 1/2 the year, and I'm a SAHM for 1/2 the year. Right now we're not trying and not preventing, but we will be thrilled if I'm able to get pregnant without intervention this time around. I have PCOS, so it would be nice to not have to go through IVF again. We do have 2 embryos left, so if need be, we will try again when Maggie is 2.
Nice to "meet" all of you!

My name is Marcu and I like to dance! (Sorry for the Yo Gabba Gabba reference, but that's all I could hear when I was reading these).
I'm 33 and have been married to Ben almost 4 years. I have 2 amazing girls, Stella & Hadley. Stella is almost 2 and was conceived via our first IVF. Hadley is almost 1 and is our little suprise baby.

We have have our 14month DS from our 2nd IVF and we're getting ready to TTC #2 whenever next cycle starts, probably Sept. I have my SHG today...ugh. Hi I am Michele, 36---totally a lurker hence no signature. I have
always been afraid to post because I see how some of the boards
are....this one looks like a good group of girls! DH will be
40 next week. We have been married 11 years together 16. We have an
energetic 2 year named Matthew thanks to Metformin, Clomid and TI. I work for a real estate developer/property management company.
We TTC for 3 years only to find out I had
endometriosis and PCOS. I had a lap done in Oct 2007, found out I was pregnant
in July 08 only for it to end in a M/C on my DH's birthday. Found out
again in Oct 08 I was pregnant with Matthew, started PIO shots and never
really got to enjoy the pregnancy 1) waiting for the other shoe to drop
and 2) it seem to go so fast.
I hope to be more active on the board, I do read it every day while at lunch though!
I'm Emily. I'm married to Brad and Miles is our only son (for now). I have PCOS and tried for 18 months to conceive Miles...using clomid, femara, Metformin and IVF. IVF failed and we got pregnant the following cycle while I was still taking my Metformin. You could say I was surprised.
I'm 30 years old this year. I work in marketing for a commercial real estate firm. My real passion is photography and graphic design. I'm not athletic AT ALL. I love jammin' to good random music and I love, love, love movies.

My name is Tricia, I am 29(about to be the big 3-0 in c couple of months). I have been married to my wonderful husband, Vinny, for almost 6 years! We have 2 year old twins, Ava and Thomas...Thankfully via IVF/ISCI!! We are starting to get the baby bug again, and are hoping to start again sometime next year!
Not on here too much anymore, so I hope you dont mind lurkers
lol...I just love to check in and see how everyone is doing!
Love this!
We have one son who is 15 Months Harrison who we got with IUI and injectables, and apparently another on the way.... got a surprise BFP last week and are expecting next March though I am unsure since I have very long cycles, our first appt is August 10th.
I love to scrapbook/craft, cheer for Penn State Football, snuggle with our dog Penny(mix/rescue who is about 5 years old) and garden.
Pleased to meet you all!
I'm so late to this but...
I'm Micki. I've been married to Eric for almost 6 years. I'll be 28 next Tuesday and Eric is 29. I have PCOS, DS was conceived on a break cycle after 4 failed clomid attempts and 2 failed follistim for IUI attempts, we were gearing up for our IVF consult. I'm pregnant again after 21 cycles thanks to Femara, trigger and IUI.
I work M-Th, 32 hours a week as a nurse practitioner in an OB/GYN office. I'm a former L&D nurse and was a brief peds med/surg nurse. Eric is an airplane mechanic for a major airline, he was laid off when DS was 3-4months old and started back 1/2 time in January, hopefully he'll be full-time soon but he has full benefits right now so that's what counts.
I love trashy TV, magazines and not cleaning my house. I'll cook or bake anything if I don't have to clean up the mess.
TTC #2 with PCOS since September 2009
BFP, Femara 7.5mg, Ovidrel, IUI. Beta #1 17dpIUI -495 Beta #2 19dpIUI-1031

My Blog
Lurker here.
Hi All,
I'm Bridget.
DH and I work together and are both full time. We keep busy but in my free time I like to entertain, travel, bargain shop and spend time with family and friends.
Hi, I'm Lisa. I'm 42 and married to Glenn. We finally got our beautiful daughter, Alana, on my 8th IVF attempt, thanks to the use of donor eggs.
We live in North Jersey and I feel so blessed to be a SAHM!
Hi I am Michele, 36---totally a lurker hence no signature. I have always been afraid to post because I see how some of the boards are....this one looks like a good group of girls! DH will be 40 next week. We have been married 11 years together 16. We have an energetic 2 year named Matthew thanks to Metformin, Clomid and TI. I work for a real estate developer/property management company.
We TTC for 3 years only to find out I had endometriosis and PCOS. I had a lap done in Oct 2007, found out I was pregnant in July 08 only for it to end in a M/C on my DH's birthday. Found out again in Oct 08 I was pregnant with Matthew, started PIO shots and never really got to enjoy the pregnancy 1) waiting for the other shoe to drop and 2) it seem to go so fast.
Ok, I think that 'bout sums me up.
