  • I'm Andrea, I used to be a lot more active on this board but I still lurk a lot and quietly follow what's going on. I've been married for 4 years and we have a 2 year old son, Jackson, from our first IVF and I am due with a little girl, Adelyn, in October from an FET.  I have blocked tubes thus IVF was the only option for us.

  • Great idea! I'm a very "active" lurker :)

I'm Kristen, 29, married to the love of my life Nolan for 4 1/2 years. Mommy to DS, 19 months,  and DD who is scheduled to arrive in 2 weeks! Both are a result of IUI/Clomid.

I work part-time as an RN in Obstetrics (which as you can imagine was very difficult while going through IF). I love that I get the best of both worlds, SAHM and working mom. I also love spending time with DH and DS, reading, shopping, finding a great deal, running, sleeping, and decorating.

  • I am Deidre, am 36, and have been married for 4.5 years.  I live outside of Philly and work as a physician.  I have been here a while but I mainly lurk....albeit daily.

I am mom to Liam 2.5 and result of IUI.  I had twins last July from IVF at 24.6 weeks after a routine growth ultrasound showed my cervix was nonexistent.  My son Finn spent 111 days in the NICU and just turned a year old. Unfortunately our daughter Nessa passed away at 3 days due to her underdeveloped lungs.  We miss her everyday.  Finn has some scars from his prematurity but is overall doing very well.    We have an appointment next week with the RE to discuss a FET.  I am scared to death but feel like our family is not complete.

I really need to figure how to change my siggy.  It is circa 2009.

  • I'm Marni.  I will be 40 in 18 days.  My DH and I have married for almost five years (our anniversary is in nine days).  We have one son, Grant, who is an IVF baby.  He just turned two.  We have a Boston Terrier named Smudge (thus my SN).

My DH is in the Army, so we move a lot (we are in house number six in less than five years).  We are waiting to see where we will be moving next Spring.  I am a SAHM, due in part to the frequent moves but also because it is what we have chosen for our family.

We are "one and done"--my tubes have been tied.  There will be no surprise BFP announcements from me!  LOL!

  • I'm Sara, 31, married to Dan for almost 5 years. I have pcos and was lucky (or stubborn-took 18 months because I didn't want to admit I might need help!) and conceived my girls without much intervention (and often wonder if I really belong here). I had a m/c before getting pregnant with Reese. I got pregnant with her the month before we were going to start treatments. With Grier, I was on met. We live in Texas, but are both from Iowa. I desperately want to move back (swore on my life I would never miss Iowa! Lol!). I'm an occupational therapist, but considering PA school (yes, I'm nuts!). I love college football (45 days! Woot!) but could do without the NFL, especially after the super bowl fiasco in Dallas last season! (sorry for the lack of paragraphs, I'm on my phone!)

  • HI! I'm Erin, 31 years old, married to Brian for almost 8 years.  Been a lurker for 5 years...almost daily! Holy cow, time for me come out of my shell.  I'm actually very outgoing IRL.  lol.  I'm a part time school nurse at a large high school and my DH is a prosecuting attorney.

After TTC for 3 years, my first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage at 12 weeks.  Second pregnancy achieved with Neevo (for MTHFR), Femara and TI.  We feel so blessed to have been able to achieve the second pregnancy with so little medical intervention.  Cole is now 2.5 years old and cracks me up every day.  Our second son, Vincent, is almost 11 months old and a complete surprise (I still take Neevo daily for the MTHFR).  He is the happiest baby I have ever met in my life.

I live in Washington State (Eastern Washington...it's a desert here...NOT lots of rain like Seattle) and LOVE wine, lounging by pool, playing in the mud with my boys, shopping and decorating.  Guilty pleasures include The Bachelor/The Bachelorette. :)

  • Hi, I'm Kristy and I'm 33. I've been on the boards (TTTC & then SAIF) since Summer of '06, so I guess I'm an "oldie".

Casey and I have been married for 7 years, together for almost 13.

I'm a former CPA, and I currently SAH with my two under two. I work from home doing taxes and accounting when I can squeeze it in, which isn't much lately.

DD was an IUI with injects miracle after 3.5 years TTC with an  unexplained diagnosis, several failed IUIs, one failed IVF and one lap surgery. DS was an ummedicated surprise! I haven't been posting much since 2U2 take up most of my time, but I still keep up with everyone.

  • I'm Shannon- I have been on since January 2007. DH and I have been married 5 years in just about a week.

We live in Las Vegas, but will be moving to Charlotte, NC in about the next 9 months.

I own a promotional products business, and work from home. I also help out part time at a law firm (its for a large case that is getting ready for trial) I am going to go to law school when we move and DD is a little  older.

DD is adopted- we finalized her adoption in May 2011- she came it up at 3 weeks old.

We have been through 3 rounds of Clomid, 3 IUI's, and 2 IVF's- during that time I had two miscarriages.

Our Journey from two to three! 3 IUI's, 2 IVF's, decided to move to foster/adopt. 12/24/2009 Baby C born, 2/1/2010 placed with us, 5/17/2011 Adoption final- we are finally a forever family! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • I'm Allyson and I'm 29, soon to be 30.  Indifferent  I've been married to DH for nearly 8 years together for 13...he was my high school sweetheart.

DD is the result of our third IUI, first with injectables  and my DH was on hcg for low testosterone.  DS was an unmedicated surprise!

We also have an almost 7 year old yorkie, Rocky, who doesn't get quite as much attention as he used to.  I love a good martini and champagne, reading, photography and hanging out with family and friends.

I stay home during the day with the babies, and work as a CNA in the evenings, along with going to school for my RN.

  • I'm a dork who doesn't say her name on here. Stick out tongue But anyway... I'm 35. I've been married for 17 years. Originally from Texas but living in Seattle.

I'm a SAHM for now, technically still a PhD student, planning to dust off my thesis within the year (omg).

  • Hello!

My name is Shelly and I've been married to my sweet DH for 3 years this August. After 2 years of TTC, 2 IUI's and 2 IVF's with ICSI, in May we welcomed our precious son and daughter into this world. They are the light of our lives now and I have no idea how we ever lived without them :)

In my spare time (ha! what's that?), I like reading, quilting and watching baseball (GO GIANTS!!!).

ETA: I just turned 29 (ahh - the big 3-0 next year!) and my DH is 37 :)

  • I'm "ardilla", 31, married to my DH for almost 9 years, together almost 14. I have non-insulin-resistant PCOS and DH has no IF issues. We have b/g twins who are 2 years and 3 months old. I took probably too many rounds of Clomid at varying dosage with barely any response, ditto Femara at 2.5 mg. What eventually worked was our second combo cycle of 5 mg Femara plus small amounts of Gonal-F, trigger shot, baby aspirin, and1500 mg extended release Metformin. I would love more kids, but a combination of IF, $, and how problematic my pregnancy was (PTL at 22w1d, shortened and funneling cervix, 7 weeks on hospital bedrest, about 7 more at home, delivered at 36w0d) will probably keep that from happening. And I'm typing from my phone, so please forgive the lack of spacing/breaks!
After 20 months TTC with PCOS, we were blessed with twins!
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks. Lilypie Third Birthday tickers image

I'm Chrissy, 33.  Married for 4 years to Jeremy.  We're MFI and are very fortunate that IVF#2 gave us our daughter Bea.   I have 4 frosties left and are hoping to lose weight so we can try for #2 in Nov.

I live in Los Angeles and work in TV so my hours are crazy long.  This is a big reason I'm more of a lurker than a poster.  But I've been reading and rooting for all of you for years and years. (pathetic I know).

Funny enough my BFF who I do everything with (work together, live blocks from each other, we even met our DHs on the same website) is now 11 weeks pregnant from IVF too.   Hopefully in Feb. you'll have us both lurking here.

  • I'm Abbey.  Jeff and I have been married 7 1/2 years.  I'm 32, look 20.  Eli will be 3 in a couple weeks and Amaya is 7 weeks today.  Both kids were IUI with clomid and trigger.  I had cholestasis with both of my pregnancies and we are done because I ended up in heart failure after my last pregnancy.

I'm an accountant but have been out on maternity leave since the beginning of April.  I'll be going back to work in September, once we find the money to send both kids to daycare.  I've enjoyed being home with the kids though.  I enjoy crafts, photography, and traveling.

Hmmm, maybe I should update my siggy too.

  • Not sure if anyone is still reading this, but...

I am Amy, I love pandas.  I really want to go to China and hug one.

I have 2 daughters and a son watching over them.  It took me 18 months and 2 m/c's to conceive Betsy (I was on met).  I got pg the month I weaned Betsy at a 13 months, but m/c'd that baby.  Then I got pg with Carly the month after that m/c.  All my m/c's were before 7 weeks and we never saw a heartbeat.  I was so excited to conceive again the month I weaned Carly and to make it past 7 weeks and see the baby's heartbeat.  We found out we were having a boy at 15 weeks and at 21 weeks, my water broke and an MRI showed my placenta had grown outside of my uterus and into my bladder.  This was life-threatening for me so my son was stillborn and I had a hysterectomy. I felt him kicking as they wheeled me into the OR.  I really don't feel our family is complete and we are looking into surrogacy. I am heartbroken that I won't be able to breastfeed exclusively again.

I adore staying home with my daughters. When I am old and gray, I know spending my days with my girls will have been the best days of my life.  We also lived in Europe for over 6 years with the Army pre-babies-a time I look back on very fondly. I live in Hawaii now, but probably not for long.  We are looking to relocate to Idaho next year to pursue surrogacy.

You ladies are a super awesome support group-I big puffy heart all of you!

I have PCOS and DH has MFI.  After 8 years TTC and 3 failed IUI's, we were on the path to be child free not by choice, but a phone call from a distant family member changed that and we became parents through the miracle of adoption.  Marcus is 14 months old, but was born at 26 weeks so adjusted he's developmentally about 10 1/2 months old.  We also found out he has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy about a month before his adoption was finalized.  He is the sweetest little guy and can light up a room with his smile. :)

I like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. ;)  Or reading, baking and hiking. Depends on the day.  I'm also a sucker for reality TV and the F.ood N.etwork.
