Hey ladies!

First of all, thank you so so so so SO much for all your continued prayers and well wishes! The support is still so appreciated and though I may not be able to reply most of the time because Im usually on my phone, I read posts as often as I can and Im praying for all the mommies who need it and thinking of you all on a regular basis.

Allie is making beautiful progress as the days go by. She is off oxygen completely...breathing 100% on her own.  She now just has one little nasal tube which she is fed through. Shes being fed every 3 hours and has tolerated the milk/formula just perfectly. I cant wait until she starts gaining weight and she's lost a tiny bit (which is expected but still!).

Every time they take a tube or IV off her her she looks like a totally different baby. Yesterday we finally got to see her eyes open, no hat, no blue light or stunner shades ;) She is just breath-taking and I still cant accept the fact that she's mine...I feel so undeserving of her.

    She's beautiful!  I have been thinking about you guys a lot and am so happy to hear that Allie is thriving.  It's amazing that she is breathing completely on her own.  Continued good wishes to you and your family.  Thanks for keeping us updated.

    I just teared up reading your post Mel. Allie is absolutely beautiful and perfect, I am SO glad to hear that she is doing well. I will continue to pray for things to go as well as possible for  you all. She is lucky to have wonderful parents!

    P.S. LoL at "stunner shades", I bet that would make for an adorable photo!
