I drink one, maybe two at most, a day. Not a coffee drinker. Should I stop? It has no effect on him that I notice since I drank it here and there my 2nd and 3rd trimester when my doc said it was fine. Just hoping I'm not the only one...
I drink pop...if it is the caffine you are worried about, you have to drink 5 or more cups of coffee for it to effect your BM unless your baby is ultra sensitive. I have one or two cups of coffee a day without issue.

I don't drink soda at all, but I never have (it's not a bf'ing thing, I just don't like it). I didn't drink coffee at all with ds, but with a 2.5 year old to keep up with and a 3.5 month old, I drink a cup of coffee most days now. Dd is fine.

Nursed without dairy, egg, soy, peanut, treenut, fish, shellfish or beef for over a year.
Currently tandem nursing dairy, egg, and shellfish free.
DS born via emergency c/s after 20 hrs of labor. DD successful VBAC!
Toward the end of my pregnancy, I'd drink one caffeinated drink a day soda/coffee with no problem. When I first started BFing I didn't drink any caffeine but as LO got older and I saw it didn't bother him, I'd have a Coke at dinner here and there. Not every day but that was more for calories than caffeine.
Re: Do you drink pop?
Uh yes.
I'd die without coffee in the a.m. I usually have 1 to 1.5 cups.
I drink plain Coke about once a week. It's my guilty pleasure.
