Hi all,
I don't post often but the several times that I've had I've appreciated the advice that I've been given. They've all been helpful. I have to say however that I am often disappointed when I read posts and the responses that many people get here. The tone (and yes I understand that the internet has a funny way of making things seem worse) and the responses that some people give are often snide and many times flat out rude. What gives people? Yes, many of the questions that are asked by us newbies are repeats of the same questions that are asked over and over again but newsflash...everyone is new at some point and many probably asked similar if not the same questions at one point too. This is an open forum where people should be free to ask ANY question that they want with regards to trying to conceive. If it's been asked before or the answer is on the newbie link get over it. I get that everyone has bad days every now and again, who doesn't but to treat other people who are "in the same boat" of this monumental change in life is just mean. And no I'm not some sap but good grief a little respect for each other goes a long way. If you don't like the questions then the answer is simple. Don't read them. If you happen to read one and find yourself rolling your eyes then so be it just don't respond! Flame away...if asking for a little decency upsets you then your issues are likely bigger than this post.

If you happen to read a snarky response that you don't like and find yourself rolling your eyes (or crying over it, as it may be) then just don't respond. It's clear by your repsonses that you can't see past the end of your own noses. It really is sad that we're all here with what is likely the same purpose and a few rotten apples really make things nasty. It sucks because there are clearly others on here who are genuine and helpful.

OP - There are so many things wrong with your post that it's making my head spin. You claim this should be a forum where people are free to ask whatever they want. Um, it is. I totally agree. I just joined this board and came on her this morning after reading the responses to one of my very first posts/concerns. I was on other community websites for years with my first two and never saw meanness like this. Not just mine but read other posts after and saw the same attitudes. Ridiculous. I will be deleting my profile as soon as I go figure out how.
