I wish I had good news.....but unfortunately...I don't .
Doctor called me this evening with my HcG Levels. I was only @ 22,000. My levels should have quadrupled from last thursday (12,000)..and they didn't even double. My doctor called it an incomplete miscarriage or a missed abortion/miscarriage. She gave me a few options...I could miscarry naturally (which could take weeks)...i could take a pill to get everything out, but will still have lots of bleeding and cramping, or I can have a d&c. I told her I wanted a second opinion, and going to call my OBGYN tomorrow, and let him know what is going on (he has been out of the office).
I am still in shock. Is this really happening...AGAIN!? How is it possible to have 2 miscarriages in less than a year, right around the same time as the other one. What is WRONG with me? Why can't my body hold a baby? Ugh...so depressed/sad/upset.......losing all hope.

I think its good you are asking for a second opinion. Please don't lose all your hope. I, like you suffered two miscarriages in less than a year and right around the same time as the other. I went on to get pregnant right after the last one and so far everything has gone as it should (well, for the most part) My T&Ps are with you hun and I hope you get some good news soon.
Don't lose all hope. Yes things may seem grim, but your OB may have a different interpretation of your numbers. Keeping my fx that your OB thinks things are fine and offers to do an US so they can confirm better. Try to relax and not stress. Praying that things work out for you!!!
Not trying to give you false hope, but I found this website: https://www.misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com/.

I'm sorry you're going through this heartbreaking experience again. I wanted to add to the "don't lose hope" chorus... I had 2 miscarriages within 5 months last year and am now pregnant again with a healthy pregnancy that is going well. Although it was not comforting at all, after my 2nd loss my doctor told me that some women are just "unlucky" but it doesn't mean that something is wrong with them. I had a D&C after my 2nd loss (missed m/c) and was able to get some answers about why I lost the pregnancy through chromosomal testing of the remains. I also pursued additional blood work & testing to find out whether I was likely to have trouble getting pregnant or staying pregnant in the future. I'd definitely recommend getting tests to see if there's a reason for the losses. Hopefully it will give you some peace of mind or point you in the right direction.
Take care and allow yourself to grieve, but don't give up! ((Hugs))

I am so sorry you are going through this. I'm so glad you are getting a second opinion.
Have they looked for the ges sac? Is it positioned in your uterus? I only ask because I had an ectopic pregnancy and my numbers were "high" [not as high as yours] and they didnt' double - when they tried looking for it they didnt see anything in my uterus. I just don't want you to have a tube burst on you while you are waiting for a second opinion. ::hugs:: This is such a hard time for you and your husband right now.
There is NOTHING wrong with you or your body. ::hugs::
Im so sorry to hear that. I dont blame you for wanting a second opinion. I have had 2 losses also before this pregnancy. Dont lose hope. Lots of T&PS and hugs to you.
We saw the sac during my u/s. But there was no fetal pole or h/b.

I am so sorry. This is most likely shitty luck. It really, really sucks. You can go to a reproductive endocrinologist for a recurrent pregnancy loss panel (they will do this now that you had 2 miscarriages). This will allow them to see if there is anything wrong or if it is just bad luck.
With my loss, I tried hard to remember that EVERYBODY has bad sperm and bad eggs and it only takes one of them to cause a miscarriage (my bad I mean genetically abnormal). You ARE capable of having a baby given that you had your son. You will have another! I am so sorry you are going through this.
All of this. My story is almost exactly the same. 2 m/c in 3-4 months of each other around the same time. I got pregnant again and then found out about the increased risk of m/c due to hypothyroidism (runs in my family) I quickly made them test me and treat me and so far, so good. Baby is measuring normal. I have no idea if it was the hypothyroidism, but it might be worth a check.
I definitely had the "I can't go through this again" thought run through my head the day they told me my second wasn't viable, but you can't give up.
I also had a few counseling sessions and they really helped me get through it.
Keep us updated on the second opinion. Fingers are still crossed for you.
I'm sorry you're going through this
Hope you get some answers soon.
T&P to you...don't give up hope! Nothing is wrong with you, don't ever think it is your fault because it is not! I spent a lot of time blaming my self for my m/c but when it came down to it I realized it was nothing I did or didn't do for this to happen! I had 2 m/c and now I am 28 weeks pregnant so it is possible. We must be patient! I know it is extremely hard to be when you want something so badly.
If you need to talk, feel free to PM me anytime. Praying hard for you!
I'm so sorry things aren't looking well right now. I agree that you should get a second opinion before you do anything.
Your numbers should not have quadrupled. The higher your numbers are the slower they are to double. I've read as much as 4-5 days to double or more once they've reached 6,000 (and maybe even less than that). I don't know how much time was between your 2 tests but I'm holding out a little hope for you.
ETA: I also had 2 miscarriages last year so I do understand how you are feeling. ((HUGS))
