Anyone's DC have galactosemia?

Just got a call that my DD's newborn screen was positive.

    Hi Jberbie. I just responded to your other post on the 0-6 board. Our son is going to be 3 weeks old tomorrow and we were told that he too has galactosemia. We still don't know too much as we are still waiting on some test results-but we're hoping that it's duarte and not classic. What have your doctors told you so far? I know it's scary not knowing things, or at least it was/is for me-did they put your baby on soy formula? I still don't know much but we have met with some some specialists, a dietician, and a few other doctors, so if you have any questions or just want to talk about anything feel free to ask.
