I recently bought an Ameda Purely Yours pump and it works ok, but the fastest speed setting is pretty slow. I get so much more out of my manual pump because I can pump much faster.
How is the speed on the Medela PISA? Do you feel like you get a sufficient amount of milk? Thanks!
ETA: I should clarify that I don't own a Medela, but I'm considering getting one. I'm wondering if would be more efficient than the Ameda I currently have.
Re: Medela pump question
I only use the fastest setting n the Ameda to get let down. Then I turn it slower and turn up the suction (just like a baby would do). Works great. How are you using it?
The PISA has an automatic letdown button and it is fast. I only know how fast the Symphony is (hospital grade) not the PISA. But assume they are similar.
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

I found the highest speed setting on the PISA was unbearable for me, and that I was able to get a good amount at a medium setting. FWIW I have a Medela Freestyle now which I prefer greatly to the PISA.
