Excited for DH...and me

DH is off tonight on a four day 4x4 adventure called the spirit of Africa challenge it's an invitation only event so he is like a kid in a candy store since his dad and brother didn't make the cut! I have four days of peace, control of the tv remote and no "car talk" ....whooohooo! I was offered to go with...tents, no loo, freezing cold, no safe drinking water, mud, and insects....ummmmm no thanks:)

    Amen to that! That sounds like pure heaven!!!  I understand that there are some women who don't like it when their husbands go away for any length of time, but for me it's fantastic down-time.  One of the best parts is watching my favorite tv shows without hearing the comments from the peanut gallery (where peanut gallery = my dear, sweet husband).
