Feeling? Healthy and Happy....but I do think I will be keeping better track of what I eat to slow down the gaining from here on out. I really want to stay in the 25-35 range for weight gain.

Current weight at 25 weeks: 150 lbs (gain of 12 lbs)
Feeling: Very pregnant! Happy that most of the weight is confined to my uterus/belly, but it is sometimes hard to adjust to my growing body. It's definitely harder to feel sexy.
Current weight at 23.5 weeks: About 176 (+about 30 lbs)
Feeling: Large. My body just likes to gain lots during pregnancy. I was trying to keep on par with what I gained with my daughter at this point (+25 at 23 weeks) so I'm not too far off but its very frustrating to eat pretty well and still gain so much. But, alas, your body will gain whatever it wants to gain. I know I'll lose it again
As one of the, apparently, few "obese" women, I'll play.
Pre-pregnancy height / weight: 5'7" / 214
Current weight at 22+ weeks: About 207-210 depending on the day (I dropped from 214 to 205 really fast from weeks 6 thru 15 and have fluctuated between 207-210 ever since. I weigh myself most mornings just to keep tabs on things).
Feeling: For the first time ever (even when I was thin after dieting over the years) really comfortable in my skin. I am enjoying the belly, and feeling baby girl move. I actually look like I've lost weight in my face and shoulders (I can see my collarbone again! and people keep commenting saying I look like I've lost weight)...everything has just redistributed to the upper belly. I still have two segmented bellies, not a nice round bump, but my belly button is getting shallower and the two bellies are joining week by week.
I am still struggling with reflux regularly and feeling tired. Other than having a nasty cold for pretty much ALL of June, I'm feeling good.
I was 143 at my first OB appt. at 7 weeks, and since scales vary and I only keep track of my weight from the doctor's appts, not at home, I go by 143 as my start weight.
Current weight at 24 weeks? 158, so from my first appt. I have gained 15 lbs, but if you go by my skinniest pre-pregnancy weight I'm up 23 lbs.
Feeling? Fine. I had lost 20 lbs before getting pregnant, so I still only weigh a few pounds more than I weighed last year at this time when I wasn't pregnant, so I don't feel too huge.

Update on my previous post! I went to my friend's house this evening and I still weigh the same! (I used her scale before my last appointment and it was dead on as well.) I am very happy about this! I think it's because I gained so much so quickly up to week 19 (almost 20 pounds) and became more cautious of it, so I am still 172 from week 19! Again, I'm not dieting or hurting baby in any way, and I am OK with gaining weight, but I was just gaining way too quickly so now I am eating healthier.
amberdrabik:
I wish my pre-pregnancy weight was similar to yours!!! Even with going on the elliptical at the gym every day for my wedding, I only got down to maybe 145. Then we had our honeymoon: all-inclusive 4-course meals with all you can drink and I'm pretty sure I gained it all back!
So...
Pre-pregnancy height/weight? 5'3" / around 152-155
Weight at 19 and 23 weeks? 172 (I was so happy that I stayed the same from week 19 to 23!! I started drinking mostly only water.)
Current weight at almost 26 weeks? Unsure... I will find out on Friday, but I hope it's still close to 172! (I am not dieting, just making healthier choices.)
Feeling? I feel great aside from heartburn almost every evening. I feel like all my weight is in my belly. I also think I carry it well, which I am so thankful for! I just have to roll out of bed and roll off the couch, and I am a little slower. I also have a little trouble getting into the car/suv.
Feeling? Sick, still. I get breaks from throwing up more often now, but the nausea is never ending. After losing almost 30 pounds due to hypermesis, I am almost back up to pre-preg weight though!!
Pre-pregnancy height/weight? 5'6" / 150lbCurrent weight at 20 weeks (at my 20 week appointment anyway)? 171Feeling? Like someone shoved a beach ball under my shirt!
Feeling: Big, I have to do 3 point turn overs in bed at night when I roll over...putting anything on my feet is a struggle and so is shaving! lol. I am so happy baby is healthy though! I do feel a little scared because I am measuring right on this time, and with my DD I was always 3 to 4 cm small. Scared this one is gonna be big! DD was 6lbs 2oz and 19in long so I am hoping this one isn't too much bigger! Couple of headaches on and off, but otherwise, happy and healthy!!

Feeling: Happy that I look pregnant enough now that people are cautiously tiptoing around asking me if I am:) But a little freaked out at the same time that I have gained so much more weight early on in this pregnancy than last time. Especially since DS was 8lbs 9oz....humm:/

Feeling? Like I am gaining too fast. I only gained 4 lbs first trimester, so all the rest came in just 4 weeks. I don't see the "max. of 1 lb a week" thing ever working out over here. It's mainly all in my belly though, and it doesn't help that i cannot go walking because here in south fl its a million degrees in the day time, and at evening there are swarms of mosquitos, which of course, I have a horrible reaction to :.

Feeling: Terrible about myself. I had lost so much weight before our wedding (aboout 20 lbs). I gained 10 of it back before getting PG, so I feel like I have really gained 10 more than I really have. I failed my glucose test today by 3 points. I gained 8 lbs last month alone. I expressed my concerns about weight gain to my doctor and she told me that I was on track to gain about 50 punds total. I DO NOT want to do that. I am going to be cutting out the majority of my carb intake to try and keep the weight gain to a minimum and to help me pass the 3 hour test. I wait tables 4 nights a week so I am on my feet a lot, but I also plan on increasing my walking and swimming at home too.

I am so excited that we talked about weight without any issues.
This post was very interesting for me. Kind of like the bump day pics.
