I've had a miscarriage :(

I found out I was pregnant the end of May and went in for my first ultrasound today and it was a blighted ovum. I have to say I was not shocked. I did not have a great feeling about it from the beginning. I just felt something was "off". I am getting a D&C on Tuesday based on the fact he told me it could take up to a month before I ever miscarry on my own and I don't think I can stand the emotional roller coaster of waiting for it to happen. I am pretty nervous about it, though. I have my pre-op tomorrow, so I guess I will learn more about it then.

Thank goodness I was able to come home to my sweet son who gave me a big kiss right on the lips. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

I am so very sorry. Best wishes for a smooth recovery.

I've had a few D&Cs for miscarriage and I can tell you that the recovery was a bit easier than I thought. I had a hot pad on my belly the next day, and had some cramping, but other than that the physical part wasn't awful.

Keep kissing that boy! I can relate -having DD was a great comfort after my last m/c. I am sure he is a great comfort to you.

I am so sorry for your loss! I was scheduled for a D&C when I miscarried, but then it ended up happening naturally about an hour before I was scheduled to go in. Hug that little boy tight!

I'm so very sorry! I had one about 9 months before I got pg with Bailey. I ended up with a D&C as well b/c my body still thought it was pg at 9 1/2wks. The d&c was the easiest part for me. It was emotional part that was tought for me. The surgery was very quick and I was in/out of hte hospital in 4 hours. I hope everything goes smoothly on tuesday. HUGS!

I am so sorry, I went through the same thing prior to this pregnancy. I hope the D&C goes smoothly and you can move on to healing emotionally. So happy your little one was there to give you hugs and kisses when you got home!
