Can someon clear this up for me?

DS went to his 4 month appointment: he was 26 3/4 inches tall (99%) and 15 pounds 4 oz (55%). The percentiles are where he falls with ALL babies his age or ALL BOY babies his age? Does anyone know?

All boys his age- there are separate charts for boys and girls.

I *believe* it is based off of babies birth weight. The percentages are how they have grown from that size compared to other babies with the same numbers from birth.

my doc has separate charts for boys and girls. I assume all do.
