Zoey Kristine, 25w2d, 1 lb. 14 oz., Benjamin Loges, 35w6d, 6 lb. 13 oz.

Zoey is 2 years and 4 months old (22 lbs.), and Ben is 10 1/2 months old (20 lbs.)

The babies are transitioning into a part-time daycare program together and our in-laws are moving closer to us to help fill in the gap with care at home. Zoey has her last NICU follow up visit at the end of this month. She is only going to speech therapy at this point on a weekly basis. We are successfully completing our post NICU time with Help Me Grow, and she is being evaluated for an Integrated Pre-School Program in our local school district. Benjamin is my little man with no real problems. My greatest joy is watching the kids love on each other like in this picture from the weekend.

Preemie's current age, weight: 23 months old, Charlie is 24 lbs 1 oz and Lily is 24 lbs 8 oz. Annaleigh passed away at 8 weeks old due to NEC.

Any concerns to share or accomplishments to celebrate: Charlie and Lily's second birthday is approaching! They are growing up SO fast. They are talking so much and doing so many new things. They currently are right on track for their adjusted age and require no therapies at this time. They amaze me every day and I am so proud of them

Madison is still on an apnea monitor for reflux and apnea of prematurity. Apnea seems to be getting worse lately. Other than that, the babies are growing well.

Preemie: Iris Jane, born at 33 weeks 6 days weighing 5 lbs 6 oz.

She is now almost 5 months old and weighs 14 lbs!

We have two other children: Kai (4.5 yrs) and Evelyn (almost 2)

Iris was born early due to a partial placental abrubtion. She stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks. She is now hitting milestones that are average for her actual age! She smiles, laughs, coos, and rolls over both ways! Shes doing awesome!

Preemie's name, GA born at, birth weight: Ethan was born March 26th at 30wks and weighed 3lbs 3oz

Preemie's current age, weight: 9 weeks and at yesterdays appointment he weighed 6lbs 9oz!

Other children? Just a dog, Nemo; makes for a horrible nanny, but he's the best darn dog there is.

Any concerns to share or accomplishments to celebrate: Ethan had a huge weight gain this week (9oz) and averages 3oz a meal! We're working on breast feeding; he's caught up to what I could produce and we're now getting into our frozen stash. This is harder than I thought it would be, I wish I could pump more than I am, and I'm just feeling like my body is failing me. We'll get there!

She is currently almost 23 months, 25 (ish) pounds

I have one other child, Connor, 6 months, born full term (39w4d, 9 pounds 11 ounces)

I usually hang around to give encouragement to the later term preemie moms (especially for concerns with nursing and other little "not a micropreemie, not a full termer" issues.).
