I have always resisted the idea of Spanx or something similar. I get tummy aches when wearing tight clothes and didn't want to admit that I was jiggly. However, now that summer is here my jiggly belly is more noticeable, and I really want to avoid the dreaded "are you pregnant" question. So...recommend some lightweight shapewear I could wear under summer dresses and pants to smooth out the lumps...maybe someone can help me find some if we go shopping during the GTG weekend?

Re: recommend your shapewear (sigh)
You're going to the GTG? You're my hero - I can barely get out of the house still.
Anyway, I tried spanx for a wedding and I hated it, so uncomfortable! Hope someone has a better suggestion.
The babies are totally "self-sufficient" now, so it's easier to get out of the house - they can hold their own bottles, eat finger foods, and crawl/walk around the house. Of course they also fight every diaper and clothing change so those are wrestling matches. If I don't get out of the house every so often I'll go insane. Still debating whether to stay one night or two at the GTG though.

I wear the tank tops only every.single.day. I've got some at Target and some at Kohls. I like the Kohls ones the best. They are tight enough that they suck me in but not so bad that they are constraining my waist/stomach. I like that they are long enough that I can pull them over my hips too. They really do a good job of sucking me in where I need it... until I get my tummy tuck.
