I have everything picked out, but we haven't done anything yet. We probably won't until after babe is born though. Our plan is to set up DS's big boy room (yet to do this!!!) and allow him to make the transition when he is ready ... so the baby might be in our room for awhile.

I am totally itching to get to the nursery, but as long as DS is in there, it really isn't that feasible!

Since we'll be in our small one-bedroom apartment, we don't have a traditional nursery. We're using the dining room for the glider (already put it in there) and need to put the dresser in there as well. I'll hang up some pictures in the dining room for her to look at while I rock her. Her bookcase is in there, too. The crib will be in our bedroom and because of this we're waiting a few more weeks to put it up. I'm not ready for our already small space to feel even smaller.

I bought a few decorations and we have a glider, but that's about it. Since I am forced off work now for complications and have no income (besides DH of course), cribs will have to wait unless the ILs buy them for us Sad

there's no "in the middle option". we have all the furniture because we already had it. and we just got the bedding and I have the wall art ordered. i still need to get a rug, curtains and make a mobile. then it will be done.

In between painted & decorated and completely ready. More decoration is needed, and I want to put in the breathable bumper, crib skirt, and waterproof mattress topper thingy.

Similar small space/ somewhere in between situation here. Baby will be in our room for at least the first 5 months, but we'll get that set up at the last minute. This weekend we took our 2nd bedroom (which functions as our big closet) and got it totally organized and clean. We rearranged the furniture with the dresser that will be our changing station all set up. We hung shelves above it and the quilt my grandma made us for her. It's the first baby/cute thing we've got done. Made room for baby stuff by cleaning out the closet in that room and emptying dresser drawers. Feeling darn good about the whole thing.

We finished cleaning it out this weekend and my DH painted it last night! Today our friend is coming over to help DH move the dresser into the room (it's really heavy). So we'll set up the dresser and the crib tonight! Then I'll start putting everything in there. I am SO excited. We have a tree stencil thing we need to figure out how to put up, but that will be in a few weeks when DH returns from his long business trip. I feel so much better at least starting it.

Haven't done a thing, and it's starting to make me worry a bit. :P I have a office off of our bedroom that will be using as a nursery. We still have to clean out all my stuff and paint it, plus get some furniture. Though we did get a dresser the other day.

Everything is painted now. My parents purchased our crib and just returned from a week long cruise Sunday and BRU called them and told them the crib is ready to be picked up. Once we get that, it will still just be an empty painted room with a crib in it. Planning on picking up curtains and a small rug this week (room is hardwood floor) Mostly everything else is on our registry so I would like to wait (if I can) until after the shower. I've purchased a wooden "M" and plan on painting it on one of these weekends. There are matching wall decals and wall art to go along with our bedding (CoCaLo Taffy), so I probably will cave and purchase those things since I cant wait for it to be all put together!!

We're moving DS1 into the guest room. So we need to get rid of some of the furniture that is in there, paint and decorate. Our nursery is neutral and we're having another boy. So it's staying the same pretty much. We just need to move DS out.

Other -- the room was just painted last week, and the crib is in there in pieces...stupid thing didn't have directions in the box! That's it. Nothing else done yet!

Our crib and bedding are purchased, but both are still in their box/packaging. We still need to buy the dresser and changing table. Not to mention the office that will be his room hasn't even been touched so that needs to be completely cleaned out, and then we'll be able to paint and start setting everything up. I feel pretty behind! We're putting in a new bathroom though so DH said one project at a time. Once the bathroom is done (hopefully by the end of June!), the babies room will be completed!

My nursery is mostly done with a few exceptions. We needed another bedroom when we found out we were pregnant, so our old bedroom is going to be her nursery but we can't use the new room until it's finished. So the nurser is painted, crib up, dresser, some decorations, but it's still missing some things and our stuff is still in there.

We started to clean out the room this weekend while it rained. We still have to order the furniture, but plan to do so by the weekend. We'll probably finish cleaning out the room in the next week or 2 and then paint.

Other than ordering the furniture, I'm really not in any rush!

We have the crib assembled, crib mattress with plastic still on it, and just painted this weekend. Also got the call that the dresser is in, but we haven't picked it up yet. So we haven't done much.

I'm so relieved to see so many others in the same place I am! (which is no where!) I made my bedding, but haven't even cleaned out the room yet. I know which crib we want, but have been a little nervous about actually taking the step to order it. I'm headed to IKEA today to look at dressers...

We've painted the room and put in a closet organizer. All of the furniture is still in there from when it was set up as a guest room though and the baby furniture is in the basement.

We're getting new carpet in a few weeks which is when we'll start to move in more baby related things.

I'd say we're maybe about 1/3 of the way done but we've definitely done the hardest part which was cleaning everything out.

well, we've ordered the crib - waiting for it to come in. The nursery is still our "drop zone" (read; junk room). I need to get it all cleaned out and painted.

I have purchased a hamper, baskets for storage and a cube type organizer...other than that I need a dresser, armoire, changing table.....rocker.....yikes!

It will get done eventually!! Maybe some rainy weekend days this summer!!

The room was already painted the nursery color, even as it was serving as a guest room, so that's done. The crib is set up, and I made the crib skirt, but the crib is full of boxes and bags of hand-me-down baby stuff that I haven't sorted through. DH painted the dresser this weekend, so I just need to put my new drawer pulls on and line the drawers and that's ready to go. It's sort of in-between right now, I guess.

I still need to finish cleaning out the closet and get that set up, get a glider, move my overloaded bookshelf out of there, have our buddy build our bookshelf/storage unit/changing table/desk piece and get that in there, get a rug, deal with the window treatments, decorate . . . There's a lot still to do.

DH put the crib and swing together yesterday. We went to Lowe's after that and got the paint. He painted one wall so far and its starting to look really good!

I'm the opposite of choice #2--we've painted, but most furniture isn't in there yet. Furniture is being delivered Friday (yay!)--we have the crib already, and our dresser and glider are coming this week. Next weekend I'm going to work on the closet, and I'm going to finish the decorating the second and third weekends in June. My biggest challenge is coming up with wall art. I'd love to have some photos we've taken in the room, as well as some DIY art (including DIY letter name above the crib)--except we won't find out until September if we're having a boy or girl. Thankfully we've decided on names for each, so I'll at least get the materials to cover the letters now, and then actually get the letters and make them/hang them once baby arrives.

We don't have much done yet...

We've got the room mostly cleaned out, although there are a few lingering boxes from our recent move. I need to do something about those. We just put together the crib this weekend (but no mattress yet, haha), and I made some decorations (framed book art) but they won't go up until we have all of the furniture.

There's so much to do!

I chose other, because currently we don't have a room for Cael. We will be doing some remodeling to our apartment in the next month, which will add a room and bathroom, and then we will have a nursery. When that construction is done, our current living room will move to the new room, and the nursery will be where the old living room was, which is connected to our bedroom (with a door). We have the furniture and everything already, but just no where to set it up. I can't wait for the construction to be done, then I can start nesting!

We've painted and now our carseat and stroller are sitting in there. I also am keeping our laundry basket in there for now, and we have some things scattered in there that we're waiting for more room in the garage to move (come on, DH!). But we're also waiting on a crib from a friend (it's less than 2 years old and doesn't have drop-sides), and we're also looking at dressers/changing tables.

I voted for 'other' - we have just about everything except the crib and some things for the wall. Luckily, DD moved out of the baby's room and her walls were pink, so 1 less thing to do.
